Marcos admits to pressure from Asean leaders to top Malaysia's hosting  of summit  President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. shares on Oct. 29, 2026 that he is being pressured by fellow leaders to top Malaysia’s just concluded hosting of the 2025 Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Summit, particularly with showcasing the Philippines’ world-class entertainers. The President said he is faced with a 'good problem' given that there is no shortage of performers to tap. Among the names being floated were America’s Got Talent grand winner Jessica Sanchez and The Voice champion Sofronio Vasquez.
