00:00The Pindley Mobros hosted their annual shearing fundraiser on Sunday at the Fairhead Families Farm.
00:07Twenty odd locals including farmers, shearers and community members donated their time to take the wool off more than 600 lambs.
00:15The aim of the game, people rock up, shear the lambs and then that money at a contract rate gets donated to Movember.
00:23All of the money from the contract, which ended up being about $6,500, will be donated to the Movember Foundation.
00:30However, for the Pindley Mobros it's about much more than that.
00:33To raise awareness for men's mental health that getting blokes together before busy time of the year that they can actually have a bit of a chat.
00:41We're in a bit of a group environment, we're not all farmers, there's a wide range of people here and kids and families.
00:53They are remaining six years and families and inf puisse and families and for years.
00:56So we're going to better save a little more and spend three years missing coincidences right now,
01:13but we're getting more of a budget for housing.
