00:00Today on Media Miss Minute, the Trump administration is weighing changes to Social Security
00:04that could make it harder for older Americans to qualify for benefits.
00:09And a federal judge strikes down former President Biden's nationwide ban on offshore drilling,
00:15calling it illegal.
00:19I'm Craig DiGrelli. Welcome to Media Miss Minute, where we spotlight stories
00:24partisan media outlets too often overlook.
00:27Starting today with a story being missed by the right, a new Washington Post report says
00:32the Trump administration is considering removing age as a factor in determining whether someone
00:37is able to work. That change would make it harder for older Americans to qualify for disability
00:43benefits. Another option being floated, raising the minimum age for disability to 60. The Post
00:50reports OMB director Russell Vogt supports eliminating age considerations altogether.
00:55Now a story missed by the left. A federal judge has ruled that former President Joe Biden's total ban
01:02on offshore oil drilling is too broad and unlawful. The order had blocked drilling along much of the
01:08east and west coasts and parts of Alaska. The Trump administration already moved to lift the ban before
01:15the court's decision. For more stories missed or minimized by partisan media, download the
