00:05and I think everyone now is overreacting to the negatives of week two.
00:09To me, Ryan, this is the way the season is going to go for the Jets.
00:12There's going to be some games where you watch them and you're like,

00:17They're coming.
00:18They're not bad.
00:18And then there's going to be other weeks where you're like, oh, my God,
00:21they can't do anything right.
00:22And I think that's part of the process here of Aaron Glenn trying to turn this

00:32That was an old Sala line he brought up.
00:36So, but, like, look, we talk about the Detroit Lions all the time.
00:41That's the example, right?
00:42That's the example they've used with Aaron Glenn and what Dan Campbell
00:45and Aaron Glenn did there.
00:46They went 0-10-1 to start 2021.
00:50They went 3-13-1 that season.
00:52The next year they started 1-6.
00:54They ended up finishing 9-8.
00:55And then the third year they went to the NFC Championship game.
00:57So, this is going to take time, I think.

01:03Here's the problem with the state of Jets fandom.
01:08You guys are tired.
01:09And I understand why you're tired.
01:12You've watched way too many games that look like Sunday in the last 15 years.
01:17And when you sat there Sunday, it's hard to say, oh, it's a one-off
01:22because it's like, okay, how many times have I seen a game where the offense
01:26can't do anything?
01:27Right.
01:28How many times have I seen a game where the defense makes dumb penalties
01:31and doesn't force any turnovers?
01:34How many times have I seen a game where it feels like it's over in the third
01:38quarter and the coach punts on fourth and one?
01:41So, all those things taken individually, like by themselves, I don't think are a
01:47big deal.
01:47I think for you guys, though, it's just the psyche of how long do I have to wait
01:51for this to be good?
01:52And this 14-year playoff drought just hangs over this franchise.
01:55So, I think that's the tough part.
01:57I think in your heart of hearts, Ryan, you know you have to have patience.
02:01You know this is going to take time.
02:03Brian Glenn to do what he wants to do for them to get a roster that they want in
02:07here to institute the change, but you're tired.
