00:00so over here you can see that I got a list of table data without any borders but let's say I
00:10want to go ahead and add in borders over here onto the cell in that case I can click and drag and
00:15select this out right here and then I can go around and click on all borders and the borders
00:21will be added in but if I want to go ahead and change the border type I can simply select it
00:25and expand the border and over here I can add a thick border outside as well just like this so
00:31you got a thick border apart from that you can also go around and add in a double border over
00:37here on the bottom as well if you need and similarly you can see that you can go ahead and choose
00:42different sort of borders so if I were to go ahead and select this you can see that I can add in only
00:48a left border then I can add in a right border and so forth as I want apart from that I can also go
00:54around and just add in outside border right here and I can go around over here and just like this
01:00select it and add in only let's say for example like let's say for example bottom border only as well
01:08so that is what you have apart from that you can also go around over here and choose the line color
01:13so I can go ahead and choose the line color and select out a color as you want right here just like
01:19this and then you can actually use the pen to go ahead and draw out your border right here just like
01:24this as well so now over here in the border you got the draw border turned on you can also go ahead
01:29and enable your draw border grid right here just like this and then this is what you have you got
01:35an interactive draw border you can even go ahead and use the eraser tool to erase out the border right
01:41here that you went ahead and drew out as well so apart from that you even get to choose line color
01:47and line style as well so I can go ahead and choose this one and you can see that you can go ahead
01:52and add in a border like this as well you can even go around onto more more border option right here
01:58so let's say for example you can go ahead and select it you can go around over here onto more border
02:03option select out the border as you like the border style as you can see right here and go ahead and
02:09choose the color right here just like this as well and press ok to go ahead and apply it let me just go
02:14around over here onto more border right here just like this choose around the color right here just like
02:19this and then you can go ahead and then click on it to actually apply it right here just like this
02:24press ok and this is what you have as you can see. So that is how you can basically go ahead
02:30and add in borders to the cell as you like inside of Microsoft Excel. So hope you found this video
