00:00The lyrics and the music of Little River Band over the years still hold up.
00:07It's funny to me, I always give that, my son's in music, he wants to be a producer and he's
00:12in marketing and stuff, he's going to college right now, and we talk about the 50-year rule.
00:16I'm like, you hear a great song 50 years from now, it's still going to be a great song.
00:20You start going through the catalog of the Little River Band, and I'm sure when you're
00:23playing it on stage, you're like, man, these songs are timeless.
00:27They're timeless.
00:28They are, and the reaction from the crowd is what drives that home.
00:33We're doing 100 shows this year, and there's a ton of travel and so on and so forth, so
00:38the rigor of getting there and getting home is never easy, but when we see people's faces
00:45light up, as soon as we start playing those songs and they start flipping the pages of
00:50their scrapbook, that's what it's about.
00:54It's about their ears, not, not, you know, not so much ours, but when we see their, you
01:00know, their reactions, we're going, yep, okay, another night, and these people got turned
01:04on and on we go.
