00:09It was firstly third ahead of the game and it is South Shields that have come out on top with an impressive performance once again on home soil.
00:16It was a mixed first off I think from Ian Watson's side.
00:18They like to control the game but they didn't always look in control against a really lively Scarborough side.
00:23But they went in 2-0 and you can't really argue with that. Goals from Paul Blackett and Kenwin Scott coming at either side of the half.
00:31On the other side of half time the Mariners made a really quick start when Blackett doubled his tally.
00:36That was a really good finish from the edge of the box. Credit to defensive duo Dylan Bors and Robbie Tinkler for their build-up play ahead of that goal.
00:44Then a fourth one really summed up the confidence that's flowing through the South Shields side.
00:48A lovely passive move, incisive, classy, confident and it ended with a Dan Ward goal as he struck the ball past Ryan Whiteley.
00:56That allowed Ian Watson to make subs. He brought off the likes of Blackett, Tinkler and Kenwin Scott.
01:04But there was no let-up. There was real high intensity and determination not just to impose themselves on Scarborough but to keep a clean sheet.
01:12Again, you can sense just how confident this South Shield side is. Top of the league. Still unbeaten in all competitions this season.
01:21Really tough game at Macclesfield on Saturday. But on this sort of form, with this sort of confidence and this sort of energy, you wouldn't back against them get another one there.
