00:00Thieves broke into the world-famous Louvre Museum in Paris and stole valuable crown jewels in a major heist.

00:29The IDF says it has carried out aerial attacks in the southern Gazan city of Rafah on Sunday.
00:37It's the first time the Israeli army has launched airstrikes on Gaza since a U.S. brokered ceasefire deal with Hamas came into force late last week.
00:46Israel says its strikes were in response to anti-tank missiles and gunfire being opened against its troops stationed in Rafah.
00:54In a post on X, the IDF added that its attacks aimed to eliminate terrorist infrastructure in the area and was compliant with the terms of the deal.

01:08The Gaza Health Ministry says at least 18 Palestinians were killed over the past 24 hours after various incidents of direct gunfire.

01:37France's world-famous Louvre Museum in Paris was forced to close on Sunday after thieves broke into the Apollo Gallery and stole valuable crown jewels.
01:52Interior Minister Laurent Nunez said the thieves used a basket lift to access the room directly, forced a window and broke display cases to steal the jewels, before escaping on two-wheelers.
02:05He called it a major robbery, adding that the heist took seven minutes and the thieves used a disc cutter to slice through the paints.
02:14He said the items have inestimable historical value.
02:18Forensic work is underway and a precise inventory of the stolen objects is being compiled.
02:25According to local media, some of the stolen items include a necklace, a brooch, a tiara and more,
02:33from the Napoleon and the Empress's jewelry collection.
02:40Tens of thousands of protesters swarmed major cities across the U.S. to voice their objection to what they call President Donald Trump's authoritarian rule.

04:27Two survivors were taken into custody and later returned to their home countries of Ecuador and Colombia.
