02:39either against Afghanistan or even Iran in times to come?

02:45It's a decision that Pakistan hasn't thought through or has it?

03:19For the first time in six years, a Pakistani Prime Minister and Army Chief
03:23were hosted at the White House by an American President.
03:27After the meeting in a statement, Shabash Sharif showered praise on Donald Trump,
03:32calling him a peacemaker.
03:34He hailed Trump's efforts to end global conflicts,
03:37credited him with facilitating ceasefire with India,
03:40lauded Trump's Gaza peace push and expressed confidence
03:45that U.S.-Pakistan partnership will only grow stronger.
03:50But it wasn't all roses.
03:53Reports suggest the two Pakistani leaders
03:56were made to wait for half an hour for the scheduled meet.
04:01Inside the Oval Office, President Trump casually remarked
04:05that the great Pakistani Prime Minister
04:07and the great field marshal may already be waiting in the building
04:11as his Vice President Vance laughed.
04:15When the session finally happened, it was muted.
04:18No press, no joint statement, no White House photos.
04:23The only footage came from Pakistan itself.
04:25Contrast that with 2019, Imran Khan's Oval Office meeting was public,
04:35covered live with Trump fielding questions alongside him.
04:38I read a report today about...
04:41But the meet is the latest in Islamabad's pivot,
04:44a tilt back towards Washington after years in China's shadow.
04:49Trade deal has been sealed with lower tariffs
04:51and potential oil exploration deals.
04:56India is keeping a close watch.
04:59At the G20, foreign ministers' meet in New York,
05:02External Affairs Minister Jaishankar
05:04tore into the double standards of the West.
05:07Apart from jeopardising supplies and logistics,
05:11access and cost themselves
05:13became pressure points on nations.
05:16Double standards are clearly in evidence.
05:22Jaishankar went further,
05:23questioning the very credibility of multilateral forums,
05:26making it clear that India will not allow terror sanctuaries.
05:30The need for reforming multilateralism has never been greater.
05:35Colleagues, the international situation is today
05:38both politically and economically volatile.
05:40We, as members of G20,
05:44have a particular responsibility
05:46to strengthen its stability
05:48and give it a more positive direction
05:50that is best done
05:52by undertaking dialogue and diplomacy,
05:55by firmly combating terrorism
05:57and by appreciating
05:59the need for stronger energy
06:01and economic security.
06:03So while Shaibaz Sharif and Aasem Munir
06:05walked out with photo ops,
06:07India exposed Pakistan
06:09on the global stage,
06:10talking tough on terror.

07:02on what's cooking.
07:03Something is cooking
07:04and the ground
07:05is shifting
07:06in this part of the world.
07:08But what exactly
07:09is there
07:11in the mind
07:11of Donald Trump?
07:13If at all there is anything in it,
07:15we don't know.
07:16So,
07:17as the Pakistanis
07:18been emboldened,
07:19certainly.
07:21But let me
07:22tell you
07:24what I think
07:25five or six things
07:26which could be happening.
07:27first is of course
07:28the most obvious one.
07:30You know,
07:30the Pakistanis claim
07:31that rather than hiring
07:33robbys,
07:34they've been able
07:34to buy from the White House
07:35by in a manner
07:37of describing
07:38the Trump family
07:39and Trump associates,
07:40giving them
07:41some sweetheart deals
07:42on crypto,
07:44dangling the carrot
07:45of mining
07:46and critical minerals
07:47and stuff like that.
07:49The second is
07:50that it could be
07:51terrorism related
07:52but Pakistan being
07:53a partner
07:55in fighting terrorism
07:56you know,
07:57that's like crazy.
07:59That's my idea.

08:01possibility is
08:02that there is
08:03a certain
08:04mercenary role
08:06that is expected
08:07on a Pakistan
08:08investigation.
08:09I don't agree
08:10with this
08:10Bagram thing

08:15on Bagram
08:15the agency
08:16is with the Taliban.

10:26cooperation
10:27there
10:28but it
10:28is really
10:29bizarre
10:29that the
10:30Trump
10:30administration
10:30which seems
10:31to be so
10:32concerned
10:32about
10:33Islamic
10:34radicalism
10:35in the
10:36United States
10:37is then
10:37cozying up
10:38to countries
10:38like Pakistan
10:39and Qatar
10:40Oh it
10:45is very
10:46very
10:46surprising
10:47and
10:47Sushant
