00:01We're filming this on September 16th, a week in the closed beta,
00:04and I wanted to do a quick check-in on how things are going.
00:07First of all, thanks to everyone who signed up for and played in the closed beta.
00:11All of your sick combos, setups, duo moments, and memes have been a blast to see.
00:15So, let me remind you why we're doing closed beta at all.
00:18During closed beta, we've been rolling out and testing our server infrastructure across the globe.
00:23Our ops and engineering teams have been tuning our matchmaker, finding and fixing bugs,
00:26and overall just verifying that everything is a go for launch.
00:29And at this point, things are holding up pretty well,
00:31and so we're ready to move on to the next phase of launching the game.
00:34Closed beta ends on October 7th, and early access kicks off on the same day.
00:38Early access is our first full-featured version of the game,
00:41with a full season of content and a few key new features like combo trials.
00:45During early access, we'll dial in our in-season systems like the battle pass, ranked, and balance tuning.
00:50And finally, starting in early access, we'll have no more content resets.
00:54Everything you get in early access will be yours to keep.

01:00It's been great to see y'all cook.
01:02We've seen some sick stuff with every single champion and fuse.
01:05Also, we've seen a ton of community tournaments in closed beta.
01:08Shout out to the TOs who are making it happen.
01:11It would not happen without your efforts.
01:13We're really trying to make a game where you can be creative with your gameplay,
01:15and we love the energy you put in the game so far.
01:18We've seen folks finding synergy with their friends through duos,
01:21and the clips of both high and low moments are glorious, so keep them coming.
01:25We're also keeping a close eye on issues that pop up over the course of the beta,
01:28like bugs, controller issues, or game crashes, and pushing hotfixes when we can.
01:33Remember, you can always report these using the hashtag 2xKO underscore bugs
01:38or by submitting a ticket on our player support page.
01:41Early access will have some amazing cosmetics through our battle pass and store,
01:44including champion skins, taunts, and more.
01:47We're also going to showcase combo trials.
01:49Way to learn champions by practicing their unique combos and get a feel for how they play.
01:53Each champion will have beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert combos for y'all to check out.
02:00Also, their rank grind will begin.
02:01Now, we know you've been playing ranked and closed beta,
02:04but we can't wait for you to show us what you have here and see how far you can climb.
02:08Every year will be made up of five seasons,
02:10and each season will come with a new champion and other in-game content.
02:13That means our 10th champ will be dropping when early access hits live on October 7th.
02:17Keep an eye out for their gameplay reveal trailer and dev updates soon.
02:20We're also working on how Riot will support the competitive 2xKO scene.
02:24We want to put the spotlight on community TOs and organizations.
02:27With that, we're excited to announce that we'll be sponsoring 22 community-run tournaments
02:31through the rest of 2025.
02:33We're calling this the First Impact Program.
02:36Each First Impact event will receive a pop bonus from Riot,
02:39with an extra prize for winning as a duo.
02:41So find a friend and really show us what you can do there.
02:44We'll give you a list of all 22 events so you know what to look out for.
