00:04See, instead of asking God to remove your troubles,
00:06instead of asking him to remove everything that's not working out in your life,
00:09all your hardships, all your frustrations, all your worries, all your fears,
00:13instead of asking him to remove all of that stuff,
00:15why don't you ask him to give you the strength to keep going,
00:18to give you more dependence on him?
00:21See, it's not the absence of suffering that gives us victory in life.
00:24It's facing your fears and confronting your troubles head on with God by your side.
00:30Look to God for dependence.
00:32Look to him for strength and power
00:34because he promises that his power is made perfect in our weakness.
00:39And maybe God in this season of your life is trying to do something within you
00:44instead of remove something from you.
00:46Perhaps he's using what you're going through to push you into closer dependence,
00:50into closer intimacy, into closer relationship with him,
00:53building more character, more integrity, more confidence,
00:57everything that you're going to need to get through this season.
