00:00It's Cristiano Ronaldo against Yaskolainen to fire United in front here, and he does!
00:06The boy is back in town, United lead!
00:12Well, it's as calm and as composed as you're going to get.
00:15And he has been Manchester United's best attacking player here this afternoon.
00:20While it's 1-0, they still have a chance of getting something out of this game.
00:26Rooney, Ronaldo ahead of him. Has he stayed onside? He has!
00:30Berbatov's in the middle, it's back to Wayne Rooney, dropping the shoulder, Rooney!
00:34That is magnificent!
00:36Wayne Rooney wraps up the point, surely, for Manchester United with a piece of brilliance!
00:43Now Brown.
00:45Chester would gallop into Blackburn's half, and Ronaldo's away.
00:48Cristiano Ronaldo has Rooney!
00:51Wonderful goal! Truly wonderful!
00:54The pace was electrifying, the execution was clinical!
01:01If you ask me to say, give me a classic example of a Manchester United goal in the last year, I'll give you that.
01:11Prevented Wayne Rooney's goal in the first half.
01:15So having seen it time and time again, you sort of think that was quite a harsh decision.
01:19Rooney on here, quick thinking, wonderful, quite wonderful.
01:24Now, sharp, incisive football, and Albion bamboozled by the razzle-dazzle of Rooney and Ronaldo.
01:33It's a lightning strike.
01:35Manchester United's still at it, though.
01:37Raphael glanced away by Boya.
01:39Anderson.
01:42Here's Narni.
01:42Away from Fletcher, Ronaldo!
01:48Cristiano Ronaldo for Manchester United!
01:51Just as he did here against West Ham last year.
01:54Opens the scoring this time round.
01:57Oh, it's a lovely pick-out from Narni.
01:59Ronaldo just checks off his marker.
02:01He's doing well, he's getting the ball, and then he's giving it back again, Bill, you know.
02:04And you're right, the decision-making with the ball's not very good.
02:08Offside flag here against Berbatov.
02:10And how has he kept that in play, Dimitar Berbatov?
02:14Well, made by Berbatov, finished off by Ronaldo.
02:17But an exquisite piece of skill by the big Bulgarian.
02:20How did he do that?
02:22It's 2-0.
02:23Well, that's one of the pieces of skill that you're ever going to see.
02:28Conceding, since they've come into the Premier League.
02:30Nice and tight and solid at the back, but they look very edgy.
02:36Neville looking for Ronaldo, who's ghosted into space.
02:39Closed out by Kamil Zayati, the Ghanaian.
02:41Here's Cristiano Ronaldo.
02:43It hasn't taken him long.
02:49Inside the first three minutes, and Hull City trail, and Cristiano Ronaldo gets on that goal trail again.
02:57Mike Dean has given penalties for Manchester United on his last three visits to Old Trafford.
03:02Not yet.
03:03Oh, Ronaldo.
03:04Cristiano Ronaldo extends Manchester United's lead, and extends his golden scoring patch.
03:13It is now 3-1 to the Champions.
03:16Well, I said earlier, I thought Manchester United should score more goals like this.
03:20First real test for Thomas Sorensen in that Stoke City goal.
03:23You'll see a knot of red in that Stoke City wall.
03:32It's Cristiano Ronaldo.
03:33He has called the goal.
03:35And he's done it.
03:37A century of Manchester United goals for Cristiano Ronaldo.
03:42Fantastic finish.
03:43A trademark free kick.
03:45There's Fletcher.
03:47United making the breakthrough early on in this game.
03:49I haven't built on it, and that will please Stoke City.
03:52It might do now, though.
03:53Ronaldo.
03:54Now it's Carrick skimming away, finding space!
03:57What a terrific goal from Michael Carrick!
04:01Manchester United have breathing space right on half-time!
04:05Well, that's the first time Ronaldo's up the pace.
04:11Ronaldo sets himself.
04:13Stoke have almost an eight-man wall.
04:15It's Ronaldo!
04:19It's 5-0 to Manchester United!
04:22Was there ever any doubt where that ball was ending up?
04:27Well, for me, Sorensen's at fault again, Gary,
04:29because he's creeping over and he's expecting...
04:32Ronaldo and Berbatov seals it!
04:41Three goals, three points,
04:44and a huge statement of intent
04:46from the reigning Premier League champions.
04:49But you just look at Wigan's three previous visits here
04:52in the Premier League.
04:533-1, 4-0, 4-0.
04:55Tells you all you need to know about what they're up against historically here.
04:58And here now is the world's best player, Cristiano Ronaldo.
05:01Fins to cross the face of goal.
05:03And Manchester United haven't taken long
05:06to tick on where they left off.
05:08It's Ronaldo and Rooney streets at home.
05:10They very rarely lose it at this stage of the season.
05:14It's looking ominous for the rest of the Premier League.
05:17And Ryan Giggs is onside
05:18and could be in for a fourth.
05:19Ronaldo!
05:21Manchester United march on relentlessly.
05:24They are opening up a three-point lead
05:26at the top of the Premier League.
05:27A stroll in the park at the Hawthorps.
05:30Well, you've just seen the master at work,
05:31and I don't mean necessarily Cristiano Ronaldo.
05:34You know, I've done their manager proud.
05:37Berbatov is onside.
05:39Looked like he was off for a second.
05:41Park bursting through the middle, so to Ronaldo.
05:43Berbatov to Ronaldo.
05:44He's onside!
05:45It's 5-0 to Manchester United!
05:47They are taking West Bromwich Albion apart!
05:49There's a couple of big decisions for the assistant on this near side
05:52because Berbatov looked offside when the ball went forward
05:56and then Ronaldo looked offside.
05:58He's going to take the penalty.
06:00What a timeliness would be to score.
06:03Ronaldo against Howard.
06:041-0 to Manchester United!
06:14Just before half-time.
06:17Deadly finish.
06:18And the Portuguese win it.
06:19He's actually gone straight with it in the end.
06:21He's just waiting for Tim Howard to make his move.
06:23Nobody's saying there's a best referee in the country.
06:27All our good and bad games.
06:33Ronaldo!
06:35What a goal!
06:37A stunning Ronaldo free-kick!
06:39The goalkeeper never moved!
06:42And United!
06:43Which is entrusted to Cristiano Ronaldo.
06:47The World Player of the Year.
06:49Torres on the halfway line.
06:51Can't bear to look.
06:521-0!
06:54You know, I don't think anyone can estimate,
06:57overestimate the pressure on that penalty.
06:59You know, that is an absolutely sublime penalty.
07:03And the Manchester United players are pointing at Ashley Young as well,
07:06as though he's the one that's spoiling what they're trying to do.
07:10Well, this is the Ekron goal and it's brilliant!
07:12It's Cristiano Ronaldo!
07:16And after a start full of hesitancy and worry,
07:20a surge of relief around Old Trafford,
07:23Ronaldo,
07:26Gary Neville,
07:27Ronaldo thought about staying down,
07:28then realises his team need him.
07:30Carrick,
07:31Gibbs,
07:32Carrick a second time.
07:33Now it's Ronaldo!
07:35And it's for moments like that that he's billed as the best in the world.
07:46Manchester United's savior with 10 minutes to play.
07:49Cristiano Ronaldo,
07:51one of the biggest moments of his in Manchester United's season.
07:59To restore a hope.
08:01United have that precious lifeline that sees them back on the trail of Tottenham Hotspur.
08:19Here's Everett.
08:20Ronaldo!
08:26Ronaldo!
08:30Astonishing!
08:32Quite astonishing!
08:33A record equaling 18th top plate title once again looming large on the horizon.
08:44I think O'Shea will come on and just settle United down defensively.
08:53Here's Ronaldo again.
08:56Ronaldo on the hat-trick, of course.
08:58Rooney!
08:58Well, is it over the line?
09:02It's a goal.
09:03It's a goal for Manchester United.
09:05It is 4-2.
09:10And even Edwin Van Nassar comes rushing from his goal to congratulate.
09:17Giggs doesn't get too much of a looking anymore.
09:24Is this the moment for United?
09:26Ronaldo!
09:28It is the moment.
09:31Advantage Manchester United in the Manchester derby.
09:35It's Ronaldo again.
