00:00A Vietnamese woman has been arrested for storing and repackaging drugs worth over
00:064.9 million ringgit across two apartment units in Johor Bahru.
00:12Johor Police Chief Commissioner Datuk M. Kumar said the 31-year-old suspect
00:16had been disguising the drugs in coffee and flavoured powdered drink sachets for distribution.
00:22The activities were uncovered during a raid at a gated and guarded apartment on July 25.
00:27He said the first unit was used as her residence and to store the drugs,
00:32while the second, which was located in the same building, served as a repackaging facility.
00:38Commissioner Kumar said the woman is believed to be part of a syndicate, active since April.
00:43During the arrest, police seized 29.2kg of ecstasy powder, 131g of ecstasy pills,
00:5120g of ketamine, drug processing equipment, jewellery and cash.
00:56Police are also looking for 35-year-old Terence Kikek-Ding to assist in the investigation.
