मालेगांव विस्फोट में छह लोगों की मौत होने के करीब 17 साल बाद एक विशेष अदालत ने भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) की पूर्व सांसद प्रज्ञा सिंह ठाकुर और लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल प्रसाद पुरोहित समेत सभी सातों आरोपियों को गुरुवार को बरी कर दिया. अदालत ने कहा कि, मामले में आरोपियों के खिलाफ कोई विश्वसनीय और ठोस सबूत नहीं हैं.इस पर भाजपा सांसद और महाराष्ट्र सरकार के पूर्व सरकारी वकील उज्जवल निकम ने कहा कि, कोर्ट का फैसला स्वागत योग्य है. उन्होंने कहा कि, इस फैसले ने ये भी साबित कर दिया कि हिन्दू आतंकवाद जैसी कोई चीज नहीं है. उन्होंने कहा कि ये फैसला सही है. इस सवाल पर की अभियुक्तों के साथ जो थर्ड डिग्री का इस्तेमाल हुआ है और जो यातनाएं दी गई हैं उस पर भी सवाल उठाए जा रहें है. उन्होंने कहा कि अब ये उनके वकील पर निर्भर करेगा कि वो आगे क्या फैसला लेते हैं.भाजपा सांसद उज्ज्वल निकम ने कहा कि, अभियुक्त के नाम पर जो यातनाएं उन्होंने झेली हैं, वो अविस्मरणीय हैं. साथ ही हिंदू आतंकवाद जैसे शब्द पर उन्होंने कहा कि, फैसला अपने आप में इस बात का निर्णय है कि हिन्दू आतंकवाद जैसे शब्द कुछ नहीं होते हैं.
