00:00well the main thing really is the noise and then of course the exhaust rooms
00:04lots of people have chest problems in the building coughs and stuff but the
00:11noise right from 3 o'clock in the morning it's just unbearable you can't
00:16have a conversation if I have people for a meal and I opened the windows I wouldn't
00:21be able to hear what they were saying and so I'm a fairly new resident but I've
00:26just been elected to the parish council so representing myself I can say it's
00:31pretty pretty unpleasant for the community from the terms from the point of view of noise the particles in the air the speed that some of the a number of
00:43vehicles 40% of vehicles are speeding at somewhere somewhere in or through or out
00:48of the village some of the pavements are just not able to accommodate older people
00:53or children safely these are all considerations for the community which
00:59needs to be safe and it's a shared community so you know we look at it
01:04through the eyes of the driver and how they've got to get places but there's
01:075,000 people living and shopping and doing their what they need to do here and I
01:13think it's really important to review where we are with the speed for the area
01:19which is currently 30 we know people will generally do 5 to 10 miles an hour
01:25faster when they can so there are lots of arguments in favor of 20 miles on a
01:33selective basis to try and control and encourage more respect from drivers
01:39particularly those driving through the village
