00:00And yet, from the odds perspective, DRS, you look at all the numbers on the Thunder to win this series.
00:05The sweep, not possible anymore for OKC, but to win in five, six, or seven, all under a three-to-one price,
00:15which is still more than half as likely as any price on the Pacers at plus 7.10 being the shortest
00:22to win an NBA championship back inside Cambridge Fieldhouse in six.
00:27Yeah, it's pretty simple, Ben.
00:28The algorithm does not like the Pacers.
00:30They don't care what happened in game number one, because that is insanity, those prices.
00:34Like, you now have home court advantage for the Pacers.
00:36You're like, OK, it's going to be a longer series.
00:38Like, for the Pacers to be at home with a chance to clinch is not so far out of the realm,
00:43and it's a plus 7.10 price.
00:45Now, game number seven certainly would be harder, because that probably means it's home game,
00:48it's 10 points, and it's a plus 10.40 price.
00:51But that's insanity here.
00:52And then you take a look at the five games.
00:54It's only plus two.
00:55Like, four straight wins for the Thunder is only a plus 2.90, which shows how much of
01:00a dominant favorite they were coming into the series.
01:02And let's just say the sportsbooks aren't going to give up the fourth there and say,
01:05hey, look, we understand it's 0-1.
01:07The series isn't over.
01:08It's just the fact, though, that the Pacers are going to win this thing.
01:11That's what makes it fun to look at.
01:12But you're still not, hey, now there's value on OKC.
01:15Ain't no value on OKC at those price points now.
01:18Maybe there'll be value on OKC if they lose game number two.
01:20It's like, all right, well, maybe they're not that good, but can they force the game
01:23number seven and get a better price ticket in your back pocket?
01:26But for the Pacers here, I mean, look at that number to sweep, 18-1.
01:30You know what I mean?
01:30Like, to get the seven games plus 10.40, you're getting pinball all over the place for the
01:34Pacers, and they had the lead.
01:35They're not even down in the series.
01:38I really hope you all were watching this show yesterday when you saw the game one and series
01:43winner parlay of Indiana winning the opener and Oklahoma City winning the entirety of the set.
01:49It was plus 4.30.
01:51I really hope you saw that number.
01:53Shea Gilgis, Alexander DRS, still basically has the same price as OKC to win an NBA championship
01:59for him to win finals MVP at minus 3.10.
02:02All the prices on individuals for Indiana's shorter, Tyrese Halliburton, the shortest, at
02:08plus 3.70.
02:09Now, Halliburton had that magical moment in the choke replication of Reggie Miller in game
02:15number one in what turned out to be the game-tying shot in regulation of the Eastern Conference
02:20Finals against the Knicks.
02:21And we thought for sure if Indiana won that series, he would be Eastern Conference Finals
02:26MVP.
02:27It goes to his teammate in Pascal Siakam, who was still the leading scorer last night for
02:31Indiana.
02:32Any value in those finals MVP odds, DRS, in your estimation?
02:36I mean, again, outside of the big-time shot by Halliburton, he didn't play all that well.
02:41And I got to tell you a funny story yesterday, so I told you all day long, loved Halliburton
02:44under 17 and a half.
02:45Loved it at the half, went to bed, and I saw Halliburton made the game.
02:48I said, what did he end up, with 35 in the game?
02:50Because he probably had a huge second half.
02:51He didn't.
02:52He had to start a bad game overall offensively, but just making the big shots in the big moment,
02:57he's going to get that liftoff.
02:58The key, though, is can Siakam certainly overtake him?
03:01If you ask me right now to take it, which way is he going to go?
03:03I'd probably still go towards Siakam, because I think he has a chance to score more points
03:07in this series.
03:07But you never know, again, which way they're going to vote, because even Tyrese Halliburton,
03:11like, hey, and now the MVP of the Eastern Conference, like, he was ready to walk up on
03:15the stage and take that trophy down.
03:16I just sort of dip back into the background, like, oh, yeah, my guy won it.
03:19That's the way it was supposed to be.
03:20But no, big shots in big moments are certainly going to lend you that upper hand, and he has
03:25it right now.
03:25But I still like Siakam a lot here at that price point.
