Tobi and Lynnell discuss the Terry McLaurin contract extension saga.
Transcript
00:00The reality is Terry McCorn has set himself up and has had the perfect stroke of luck happen for him.
00:06I'm not going to call it luck because he went out there and earned it.
00:08When he signed that three-year extension a couple of years ago, it was all geared up for him to get another big-time payday at the age of 30.
00:17And, oh, no big deal.
00:18He just goes out and is second in the NFL and receiving touchdowns last year.
00:21He is asking for big-time money.
00:24And I feel like Adam Peters and company probably just aren't comfortable with it.
00:28But the fact that last year you saw the receiver market boom the way that it did, I think Terry's looking at some of these AAVs.
00:35CD Lamb's getting 34.
00:36If I'm Terry, I'm going, hey, am I not worthy of $34 million annually?
00:41DK Metcalf's the one that I really look at and go, well, if DK's getting 33 annually and 60 guaranteed, then that's where it starts for my negotiations because I've been better than him throughout the course of my career.
00:53So I am not scared, but you mentioned Jordan Schultz.
01:00When we come back, that's the guy that Starbucks doesn't move me when it comes to National Football League reporting.
01:07Jordan Schultz is just Jordan Schultz.
01:09But Albert Breard, that got me.
01:11Yeah, he had a little something to say on G&D.
01:13We'll play it for you next.
01:14The one thing, again, to the Jordan Schultz report that had me a little bit worried is that talks have been minimal.
01:19I don't know how much I buy of that regardless.
01:22I'm not all that worried.
