00:10you may know the much loved children's story we're going on a bear hunt a family set out on
00:16an adventure to find a bear and on the way they come across all sorts of obstacles a grassy field
00:24a river a muddy bog a forest a snowstorm and finally a cave where the bear lives and with
00:30every new obstacle the family repeats the same refrain we can't go over it we can't go under it
00:37oh no we've got to go through it and so they do through the grass the river the mud the forest the
00:43storm until they get to the cave they tiptoe in discover the bear and run terrified all the way
00:51back home you know i think that's not a bad description of life and the problem of death
00:59in life we come across obstacle after obstacle after obstacle and we learn to go through it
01:05to triumph to overcome but in the end we're all faced with an obstacle we can't overcome
01:13the problem of death we can't go over it we can't go under it we've got to go through it
01:18so everyone goes into the cave but no one comes out alive except christians believe there was someone
01:28who was buried in a cave a stone was rolled across the entrance and while inside he defeated the terror
01:36within and as it were punched through the back of that cave turning it into a tunnel through which we
01:42can now pass unscathed jesus said i am the resurrection and the life do you believe this
01:52and christians believe that if we do he takes us by the hand and leads us through death and out the other side
