i don't see the logic in this movie. he doesn't love his wife, he love his 1st lover. he saved his 1st lover instead of his wife during the accident. when his wife leave him, now he's crying all over his wife and want her back. after all that, why would he expect his wife to forgive him and give him a 2nd chance.
So dumb lol the only logical part was her dumping his ass and even that was dragged out to the max. She didn't need to let him pull her into his car, into his home, etc.
