00:00Good morning to all of you. This is the latest weather update for Monday, March 10, 2025.
00:08At present, the effect of shear lines still continues in the northern and central Luzon areas.
00:14As we can see here in our latest satellite image, there are still clusters of clouds that are visible and affecting the Luzon area.
00:23This is due to the effect of the shear line or the cold and hot winds.
00:28We expect that some parts of Luzon will still experience dark times with scattered rains.
00:35In the southern portion of our country, we can also see these clusters of clouds
00:41that are due to the effect of the easterly or the hot winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.
00:47And because of the easterlies, it is expected that it will rain in some parts of the Mindanao area
00:53as well as in the southern portion of the eastern Visayas.
00:57For the rest of the country, the partly cloudy to cloudy conditions will continue.
01:02This means that we expect generally fair weather conditions in most parts of our country.
01:07And if there are any rains, it is just a reminder of the thunderstorms that are more often experienced in the afternoon or at night.
01:15As of now, there are no LPAs or thunderstorms inside and outside of our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:21And in the next few days, this northeast monsoon or cold wind that is currently affecting some parts of the extreme northern Luzon
01:28will slowly weaken and the easterlies will be affected again in most parts of our country.
01:34So we expect that in the next few days, we will experience hot weather in most parts of our country.
01:43The weather will change here in Luzon.
01:46As we mentioned earlier, because of the shearline, we expect rains in some parts of the Luzon area,
01:53particularly in Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region,
01:57as well as in the eastern sections of Central Luzon, in Aurora,
02:01in some parts of Southern Luzon, in the Quezon area, as well as in the Camarines Provinces,
02:06Catanduanes, and also in Albay.
02:08We expect that there will be heavy rains, thunderstorms, and landslides today due to the effect of the shearline.
02:15And for the rest of Luzon, we expect partly cloudy to cloudy sky conditions.
02:22And if there are rains, it will be due to isolated thunderstorms,
02:26sudden rains that are more often experienced in the afternoon or at night.
02:32Temperature forecast for the neighboring cities in Luzon.
02:38For Lawag, the temperature will range from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
