00:00I'm from Hempstead, Long Island, and I first got my start when I did a record with Marvin
00:09Moore, a product GMB.
00:13He did the Maria Maria record.
00:15Those guys also from Hempstead, Long Island shoot a video, everything was handled professionally.
00:21And I don't think anybody would know that that's something that somebody, you know,
00:26their outside job, you know, outside of their job, what they do.
00:32So I just, after, you know, after everything went down and I'm watching all of this, and
00:37now I'm seeing a narrative change, like, you know, I have a family too.
00:41This lady has a family too.
00:43And I think that that's more important right now.
00:46You know what I'm saying?
00:47It's like, yeah, I love the fact that it went viral, but I don't want to be known as the
00:53guy that went viral because she was a police officer.
00:58You know, I think that's extremely unfortunate.
01:01You know, I'm supposed to be doing a couple of shows going on tour.
01:05I was supposed to, you know, so like, the narrative needs to change at this point.
01:11Not to take anything away from you, but as soon as the video came back, everyone loved
01:16this model, you know, like she was getting young woman.
01:21Yeah, they loved her anyway.
01:23She was getting viewership from that video anyway.
01:25So it just got a little out of hand, but, you know, I think she was, she was one of
01:30the stars.
01:31I've had tons of artists reach out trying to get her in their video.
01:35So I think, I don't know if you, if you look at it like that, I think it might be a great
01:41thing for her, you know, I mean, I think she wins.
01:44It kind of flipped on us.
01:46Usually in a video, you won't see the main model, like throughout the whole video, like
01:52you did.
01:53So that was kind of like a shift for us.
01:56And, you know, just putting it together, we actually got her from a casting agent and
02:01we were, you know, none of us were aware of her side profession or what her main profession
02:05was, but she actually was really dope to work with.
02:09And, you know, she, she gave it her all, you know, so we thought it was a great shoot.
02:16Like it just flipped on us a couple of days ago.
02:19$20,000 of my own money to shoot that video, you know, and you, you pray for stuff like
02:25this, but not like this, you know.
02:27The onscreen chemistry that we saw between you guys was just a professional shoot.
02:33Just a professional shoot.
02:34I was very professional, you know, I didn't touch it in any appropriate ways, you know,
02:39at all.
02:40If you can really, if, if you go through the video and you watch those scenes, you know,
02:45it was, I'm a, I'm a professional, bottom line.
02:48I don't care who's on, you know, who's on set when I'm shooting videos, it's not the
02:52first woman I've worked with as far as like, you know, getting people cast to sign my videos.
02:58So you have to respect women.
03:00So, you know, people are picking apart my lyrics at this point, you know, sliding up
03:04and down the pole.
03:05People need to know that this video did a million views before it broke the press.
03:11On my own.
03:12Nobody knows that.
03:14Now it's, it was a viral video because of this, the, the, the, you know, the, the attention
03:20it got because of what happened.
03:22No, I'm making it known now that was at a million, a 1.1 million on it through my promotions
03:31and spending money on advertising that record.
03:34Now when it broke, the news broke, now it's past 1.1 million.
03:39So I'm seeing, oh, because it was a viral video because it, no, it was already viral
03:43because I was investing in my career.
03:45So let's make that clear.
03:47Love, love, love.
03:49100%.
03:50Let's make that clear.
03:5227 million subscribers, right?
03:54So a lot of our videos, you know, hit that reaction, but obviously this is a little different.
04:01Like we, we had, we hit a lot of news articles and a lot of Instagram pages.
04:08And I will say this, the next single that I got coming out will differentiate myself
04:14from doing that.
04:15It's called 10 Toes Down, 10 Toes Down, 10 Toes Down.
04:20It's just about a lot of stuff that I went through in my life and just kind of, you know,
04:26giving it a more personal feel to my music and, you know, hope people, you know, like,
04:33like the record when it comes out.
04:35You know, me and Esquire, we will scout these girls differently because I never think to
04:40ask, what do you do like in real life?
04:42You know?
04:43So I think maybe it would have moved different, but got it.
