SpaceX's latest mammoth Starship rocket exploded during a test flight, just two months after the last Starship explosion.
Videos filmed in Tamarac, Florida, and in Eleuthera, The Bahamas, appear to show the rocket exploding, with flaming debris hurtling through the sky.
The 403-foot (123-meter) rocket blasted off from Texas and reached nearly 90 miles (150 km) in altitude before disaster struck.
SpaceX later confirmed that the spacecraft experienced “a rapid unscheduled disassembly” during the ascent engine firing.
During its last test flight nearly two months ago, SpaceX successfully captured the booster at the launch pad, but the spacecraft blew up several minutes later.
