00:00Every fire broke out in the middle of the hot weather in Marikina.

00:05Three people were killed after being trapped in their house.

00:09A senior citizen in Manila is on the scene.

00:12Marizomal has a report.

00:17A thick smoke was seen from a burning residential area in Toril District in Davao City.

00:24The fire spread quickly because of the light materials and the houses were close to each other.

00:29About 100 houses were burned.

00:42Three residents were injured by minor burn injuries.

00:45Meanwhile, more than 100 families are living in a gym.

00:49Sanjina Sunog continues to be aware of the second alarm.

00:55In Marikina City, the first alarm reached Sunog but eight houses were quickly destroyed.

01:02Three lives were also lost.

01:04This woman cried bitterly when her husband and children's bodies were taken out one by one.

01:10There was rice there.

01:12I don't know, my brother was cooking.

01:16He brought his two children.

01:18He brought his two children upstairs.

01:21They were not able to go down.

01:22His two grandchildren, my two grandchildren and their father jumped from the other roof.

01:30Malongbahay and 13 other families were affected by the fire in Barangay Concepcion Uno.

01:35It is not yet known where the fire came from.

01:38But firefighters have an advice for the Fire Prevention Month.

01:45We are reminding our countrymen to be careful because it is really hot.

01:51And our electric fans, if we are not using them, make sure that they are turned off.
