00:00In the face of an increase in dengue cases, PhilHealth announced that their coverage for severe dengue cases is also increasing by almost 200%.
00:10According to the agency, from the 16,000 pesos coverage rate or hospitalization, it can now reach 47,000 pesos.
00:21As for the mild dengue cases, from the 10,000 pesos, the coverage rate has now increased to 19,000 pesos.
00:29PhilHealth explained that this is still a part of the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.
00:35to increase the health insurance coverage of their members who need medical treatment.
00:42PhilHealth President and CEO Edwin Marcado also advised that if anyone is experiencing symptoms, they should immediately seek consultation with their chosen consulta package provider.
00:54The official explained that the consulta package can be used by all members and their dependents for free.
