00:00People still want to see this character, still want to see his relationship with his daughter
00:14and with his ex-wife too, so that's very heartening.
00:18Because I love Mighty Grace, it's not a big leap of fantasy to imagine myself being her father.
00:28Also to imagine how angry the character would get if that relationship was threatened.
00:37I mean, with the success of the first one, I wasn't terribly interested in doing the second one.
00:43I just, look, I'm not a writer, so I couldn't see where the story could possibly go.
00:52But Luc Besson and Robert Marquand came up with what I thought, you know, a good, solid storyline that was worth doing.
01:04And where my character comes in, is in jeopardy of being killed, my daughter has to learn very quickly a certain set of skills.
01:18So, it was fun and it was interesting to do, and especially to shoot in Istanbul.
01:26And now here we are with the third, and again I think Besson came up with a really, really good storyline to finish the series.
01:41Strangely enough, I haven't dared to go to prayer since I've been shot.
01:46Maybe I'm too isolated here.
01:52No, I'm not converted, but I did kind of follow up that prayer about Sonic.
01:58Sonic was the first three or four days there, it was an annoyance because it was waking me up.
02:04And then gradually it just became something that I looked forward to hearing every morning.
02:11It does get into your soul.
02:14I have heard from various actors and actresses over the years of, A, the beauty of the place, and B, the Dubai Film Festival is actually becoming one.
02:26And I'd love to get an invite to come back here for the festival, I really would.
02:34And just, you know, from what I've seen just driving in from the airport yesterday, it's like, you can make a really cool thriller in this city.
02:42It would be fun, you're really good.
02:45And speaking specifically of Dubai, I've just heard over the years how extraordinary the fans are and the families here.
02:55So I'm going to experience it tonight, and I'm very much looking forward to that.
03:03You know, it's just great for cinema in general.
03:08And if my being here, you know, leaving aside the success of Take Three, however it performs,
03:17but if people can, if that translates into people buying tickets to see films,
03:24to leave their computer screen, leave their iPhone 6 and go out and sit in an auditorium with strangers and watch an experience on the screen,
03:35if that translates into that, then I'd love to be an ambassador for that.
