00:00Now back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:04It is crossover time, which means Mark Willard and Dan Dibley are in the house.
00:10Welcome, gentlemen. How are you?
00:12I'm doing good.
00:14What's up, man? I don't feel the love.
00:16Yeah, you should feel the love and I'm just gonna go ahead and get my piece out now.
00:21I'm gonna lay out because I know that the two of you and my partner, you have a lot to get through because...
00:27It's really them two.
00:29I mean, the bet you made and I know that he weighed in and also...
00:33I didn't weigh in.
00:35I simply texted and said I can't wait to weigh in.
00:37I think I know where you're going.
00:39You don't. You do not know what I'm about to say.
00:41No, so I'm gonna go ahead and lay out and I'm gonna focus on what's bugging me coming up at 2 o'clock brought to you by Atko Pest Control.
00:49But in the meantime, you guys have a lot to talk about because of the...
00:53You guys put his name on some Jordan Poole slander.
00:57And the bet.
00:59Coming up in 12 minutes.
01:01My show for 11 minutes.
01:03That's true because the street said you took a shot at him yesterday for not bringing up the Poole stuff.
01:08That's how it all popped off.
01:10It wasn't at him.
01:12I simply said, you guys said...
01:14I was on my way in and you guys were like, we're gonna get to the bottom of Willard's thing on Jordan Poole.
01:20And then I never heard another word about it.
01:22Yeah, he's right.
01:24That's all I said.
01:26The radio teases unpaid off.
01:28It happens every day.
01:30So no, I didn't. There was no shot.
01:32It was an observation that on my way in, I was readying myself for a battle that never took place.
01:39Well, it's gonna take place today.
01:43Let's talk about the bet.
01:45I made a bet with Daryl the Guru Johnson.
01:48I missed what's on the line, by the way.
01:50What did you bet?
01:52The beverage.
01:54I won one from him and Evan over UCLA.
01:58Their Cronin basketball coach.
02:00Went in last week on his team.
02:02Threw him under the bus for five minutes.
02:04I said, they're probably gonna lose four in a row.
02:06They've lost what? He's about to get fired.
02:08He got threw out. But I won the bet on that.
02:10You don't do that to young kids and expect them to do it like NBA players.
02:13So I'm hot. I'm on a heater.
02:15So the bet is...
02:17Wait, you won one bet? So you're hot?
02:19Who are you, Dan Diddley?
02:21Look at the field of the NFL right now.
02:23The Chiefs are, I believe, about to achieve history with this three-peat.
02:27That's the center of why I made this bet.
02:30Let everybody know who just joined.
02:32Okay, the Kansas City Chiefs.
02:34I bet Matt Steinmetz that the Chiefs are going to win the Super Bowl.
02:37He has the field.
02:39But he's not in love with the field.
02:41And the field is gonna fight itself.
02:44And I'm guaranteed two home games start tomorrow for the Chiefs.
02:47You are not guaranteed two home games, but go ahead.
02:50Why am I not? Because they have to win the first one.
02:53I got you. I'm feeling good about that.
02:56But if they win, they host the AFC Championship game.
02:59Either against Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson,
03:02who the Chiefs have had success with in the playoffs.
03:05So from that vantage point, I feel like I'm already there.
03:09Detroit, Philly. Philly's got their passing games a mess.
03:13Something's going on. I'm not worried about them.
03:16The Rams, I just really feel like Andy Reid and Mahomes
03:20are about to do the first three-peat ever, Dibbs.
03:23And that's why I make the bet.
03:25Because he goes, well, they're not winning ugly.
03:27That's their DNA now.
03:29They've mastered how to win games where they don't look their best.
03:32And I really believe Will. I feel you from the right looking at me.
03:35The three-peat thing for the first time.
03:38Even the Patriots can't say they pulled off that feat.
03:41And I just think it's a matter of weeks before we say
03:44we've seen it the first one in the NFL.
03:47So there's absolutely nothing crazy that you just said.
03:50All right. Okay. I'm off to a good start.
03:53Do you want my mathematical answer or do you want my emotional answer?
03:57The emotional.
03:58The emotional one is I don't think the Chiefs are the best team.
04:01I don't even think they're one of the two best teams.
04:04But that's my opinion versus your opinion.
04:07However, I would argue you're sort of flicking off the idea
04:13of either Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson coming to town.
04:16That's not easy. I don't care what building you play in.
04:19Those two guys are the two best players in the NFL.
04:22But they both have two challenges.
04:24The quarterback that I don't think the Demons, they're ready to slay.
04:27And they're going to cancel each other out.
04:29So it would only be one of them next week if Kansas City beats Houston.
04:33I would argue different opinions and that's easy.
04:37However, your opinion is a parlay.
04:40What you just did was a three-leg opinion parlay.
04:43I'm mad at that.
04:44Which is you're going to beat Houston even though
04:47blocked kicks and official slags, all the crap that they've done
04:52to win games this year.
04:54You've got to beat Houston.
04:55Then you've got to beat one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
04:58Then you've got to go to a neutral site and let's just say
05:01take on Detroit, which is, that's nothing to sneeze at.
05:07So that's the emotional side.
05:09The mathematical answer is from a factual standpoint
05:13that you just made a bad bet.
05:15One way or another.
05:17Without odds, by the way.
05:19Obviously, if I go to Vegas and you just bet on the Chiefs
05:24to win the Super Bowl and you made it an even bet,
05:27even though it is a plus 350 bet,
05:30Vegas will tell you in fact that they are not even the favorite
05:33to win the Super Bowl right now.
05:34Do you know who is?
05:35Really?
05:36They are not.
05:37They are not favored to win the Super Bowl.
05:39There's a different team that is favored.
05:41Detroit?
05:43But on my computer, it's not Detroit.
05:46But they don't have to beat Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson
05:48to get there, which is why I would argue they're favored.
05:51They have an easier route through the eyes of Vegas.
05:54That I get.
05:55So either you should have gotten different odds
06:00or you should submit that the bet you just made
06:05is less than 50-50 proposition.
06:08Because if you bet $100 on your bet, you win 350.
06:12But you should get three and a half beverages.
06:15You should get three and a half beverages.
06:17For now, we're doing too technical.
06:19It was just the Chiefs are going to hoist up the Lombardi trophy.
06:22And if it's against Dan, the gambler, Campbell,
06:25from just the way we bet it with no odds,
06:28I'll take that all day.
06:30I'd argue you just made a Dan Campbell bet.
06:32That's exactly what you just did.
06:34You're like, it's fourth down and eight.
06:36Let's go for it.
06:37I feel like the reason I made the bet,
06:40not just because it was smart,
06:42but because there's a little bit of a karma thing here.
06:47I feel like the Chiefs are skating on thin ice
06:51and they're just ripe to get beat.
06:55That's just a feeling I have.
06:59I just feel like they're going to get beat
07:02because they should have gotten beat
07:04about four or five times this year.
07:06And the Niners should have beat them in both Super Bowls.
07:08I think it's going to get them.
07:10Yes.
07:11And I put aside karma and put aside the fact
07:13that they've won two in a row.
07:14Just look at what they've been this year
07:16and take their record out of it.
07:17And Mark just kind of mentioned it
07:19where you can look at four or five of their games
07:21and they won in semi-flukish fashion.
07:25The Raiders decided they didn't want to look at the clock
07:28or kick a field goal.
07:30And you had special teams, you had missed PATs
07:33and blocked PATs and all the rest of it.
07:36If you look at this matchup
07:38and I do think that they're vulnerable
07:40and Greg Cosell earlier this week talked about Houston
07:44with two very good edge rushers
07:46and two very good corners.
07:48But Stroud is so stinky to me
07:51that he would offset the defense.
07:53I'm with you on the defense.
07:55But the offense from Houston
07:57is why I feel like they have no chance.
07:59And I have to say this.
08:01Nobody's used the NFL regular season like dress rehearsal.
08:04The Super Bowl I went to two years ago
08:06at the great Christian Willard's house
08:08I saw a man on one wheel win the Super Bowl.
08:13I saw the same Lamar Jackson
08:15have home field advantage against
08:17an impotent offense that Kansas City was last year.
08:20And they outsmarted themselves trying to do something.
08:23So the Chiefs get dressed
08:25or what's a clean up better than anybody.
08:28So now real quick
08:30from the AFC standpoint
08:33of Allen and Lamar
08:35they gotta go to battle with each other.
08:37And then that doesn't give you
08:39the berth to the Super Bowl.
08:41You gotta go beat the man.
08:43And I don't think either one of them are ready
08:45to after their fight
08:47their duel
08:49go then to KC and beat the man.
08:51And that's fair.
08:53Derrick Henry is not a quarterback
08:55and Buffalo's got a lot of things going for them.
08:58Are you familiar with Cinderella?
09:00No doubt.
09:02Cinderella went to the ball.
09:03What did she show up in?
09:05What was her ride?
09:07Did she go in a caddy?
09:08No she didn't.
09:09What did she go in?
09:10A chariot.
09:11And then what happened at midnight?
09:12You didn't think I knew what she went in.
09:14A carriage.
09:15But that's okay.
09:16Let it go.
09:17Let it go.
09:18Let it go.
09:19Every team says that's a correct answer.
09:21Judges are gonna accept it.
09:23Put it on the board.
09:24At midnight.
09:25So Cinderella has a great time.
09:27Prince Charming and it's like oh my god I'm in love.
09:29Check the clock.
09:30It's midnight.
09:31Cinderella has lots to go.
09:32So she goes out to try to find her car
09:34like me at the old Oracle Arena
09:36where I can't remember if I popped
09:38on the 66 side or the Hagen-Berger.
09:40How many times did I go back and forth
09:44over that darn hill?
09:46How many times did many fans do that?
09:50And you're hitting your key.
09:52And you're trying to find the lights to go on.
09:55And maybe that's what's bugging me.
09:57But at midnight Cinderella looks for her car
09:59and her ride.
10:00And it's a mother-father pumpkin.
10:02And so at some point Pat Mahomes
10:05and his ride is gonna be a pumpkin.
10:07And I do believe it might be this weekend
10:09because I think that Houston is a live dog in this.
10:12If not, they're not beating Buffalo or Baltimore.
10:16So I don't know if I get in on the bet.
10:19That would be up to Goo.
10:20And shout out Grumpy's by the way.
10:21You mentioned it.
10:22Oh yeah.
10:23Grumpy's is reopened.
10:24It's exciting.
10:25I've not been in there yet.
10:26It's nice.
10:27They made it nice.
10:28It looks like it from the outside.
10:29Let's take a picture right before Christmas.
10:31Sal and Dave were there.
10:32Remember you got a great trio.
10:34Honestly, I mean, maybe that's what's bugging me.
10:38Pictures of you guys out and about
10:41having fun while I'm working.
10:43That's kind of what's bugging me.
10:45It's kind of been a tough week.
10:47And you guys, I tuned in earlier today
10:49and you guys are talking about this party.
10:51This and that.
10:52Oh the party.
10:53Oh the party.
10:54Steini stayed late.
10:55This and that.
10:56Great.
10:57I'm happy for you guys.
10:58Here's a photo from it last night.
11:01Kieran took the picture and that's me
11:03and some of the sales.
11:04Here's a wonderful thing here.
11:06I have a picture of an empty office.
11:09This is where we were yesterday.
11:11We were doing a radio show to a bunch of chairs
11:14here in the office.
11:15That's what my picture is of.
11:17And I'm not trying to like bolster you in any way
11:20but those glasses take you from a 6.3 to like a 7.4.
11:25I really, I'll give them an 8.
11:27Sittler said a lot down on his payday Friday.
11:30Easy coin Dexter.
11:32He's got swag.
11:33Like he, look at him.
11:34He goes from nerdy, old and awkward
11:37to intriguing.
11:40Somebody said they look, you curve your enthusiasm.
11:43A little bit.
11:44Distinguished gentlemen.
11:45They're Larry David's fathers.
11:46Exactly.
11:47Exactly.
11:48No doubt.
11:49They are, but what they also do,
11:50they tickle the idea of Michael Douglas.
11:53Go ahead man.
11:54Falling down.
11:55Falling down.
11:57Yeah.
11:58So there's a tiny bit of like mysterious.
12:01Is he about to go crazy in those glasses as well?
12:05So you kind of scare people a little bit
12:07and the ladies like that.
12:08They like a little danger.
12:09Yeah.
12:10You like that edge.
12:11And you know, I love that movie for his like.
12:13That's why I pointed to you.
12:14I'm like, what's the title of that movie?
12:16Well, he does what you want to do every day.
12:18Every single day.
12:20So he goes into a fast food place for breakfast
12:22and breakfast is over at 1030.
12:24It's 1037.
12:25And he's like, can I just get breakfast?
12:27Oh, sorry.
12:28Oh, sorry, sir.
12:29So then it's.
12:30It's like, oh yeah, Michael Douglas,
12:33me and you both, bro.
12:35A convenience store guy wouldn't break a dollar bill.
12:38Yes.
12:39Exactly.
12:40Great movie.
12:41I love it.
12:42Anyway.
12:43And LA traffic is in there as well with,
12:45you know, all of it.
12:46It's a great movie.
12:47Unfortunately, it's probably 45 years old.
12:49How old?
12:50What year was that?
12:51I would guess.
12:52As you're Googling it and Stein,
12:53we'll butcher the read with the legal and then,
12:55and then the ad co.
12:56I'm going to put that at 1996.
12:57I'm going to say earlier.
12:58What?
12:59What?
13:00What's your year?
13:01I would say.
13:02It was like 90.
13:03I have it.
13:04I'm going 98.
13:05Okay.
13:06It is.
13:07It's got that right in between what you and Debs just said.
13:08It is 1993.
13:09Okay.
13:10Yeah.
13:1193.
13:12Yeah.
13:13Yeah.
13:14But Debs went over.
13:15Yeah.
13:16But Debs went over.
13:17Yeah.
13:18But Debs went over.
13:19Yeah.
13:20But Debs went over.
13:21Debs went over.
13:22That is accurate.
13:23Price is right.
13:24Price is right.
13:25You won.
13:26You won.
13:2793 was memorable for me.
13:28For me, it was my fifth junior year at Cal State Northridge.
13:31Yeah.
13:32Fifth of five.
13:33Nobody graduates in four years in Cal.
13:34How about 13?
13:35Yeah.
13:36All right.
13:37Who's enjoying these bouts of cold weather?
13:38The weather isn't the only thing to worry about.
13:40It's ant and rodent season, ladies and gentlemen.
13:42If these pests have made their way into your home looking for shelter from the cold,
13:46ATCO Pest Control has comprehensive solutions from effective ant treatments to rodent eradication
13:52and exclusion work.
13:53ATCO can take care of what's bugging you.
13:55Call ATCO Pest Control or fill out a service request online at ATCOPestControl.com.
14:02I'll tell you what.
14:03I'll start.
14:04All right.
14:05Because now it's all changed.
14:06And I'll tell you what's been bugging me.
14:07Time for the legal.
14:08And it's like, I think you have been too hard on Jordan Poole.
14:13Before we get there.
14:14We got to do the legal.
14:15Time for the legal.
14:16You're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGMZ FM and HD on San Francisco, always live on the
14:20free Odyssey app.
14:21Twitch and YouTube powered by First NorCal Credit Union.
14:23You know what's so funny?
14:24Two small points.
14:25You jumped into something right at two and I thought one of them was the legal.
14:29But you were just talking about like ATCO the whole time.
14:31Yeah.
14:32So I like, I was like, no, he did it.
14:34No, but he hadn't done it.
14:35What's our guy's name at ATCO?
14:37Larry.
14:38Larry.
14:39Yeah.
14:40Hi, Larry.
14:41Shorten up this read, Larry.
14:42Okay.
14:43Okay.
14:44I do.
14:46So you have been hard on Jordan Poole and the one thing you've been doing.
14:49It's not Larry.
14:50Is, it isn't Larry.
14:51Um, like we all, I don't, I feel like you're, you're, you're not giving Jordan Poole credit,
15:00enough credit for what he did when he was here.
15:04Like I get it.
15:05He's in Washington now playing a little bit like a nitwit, but they don't win that title
15:11without him.
15:12Do they?
15:13Probably not.
15:15Yeah.
15:16So as Google says to me, put some respect on his name.
15:20Hmm.
15:21Uh, I'll, I'll respond when we circle around to the end of the table because I have a quite
15:28a response.
15:29All right.
15:30I will.
15:31I will.
15:32I will give this just, I mean, this is a kind of off teaser if you will, based on what you
15:35just said, does, does helping with a title automatically gold your wallet for the rest
15:42of your life in this town?
15:45Y'all love Aubrey Huff.
15:46Hmm.
15:47Oh, that's, it's no.
15:49And that's not a comparison that Jordan pool is Aubrey Huff.
15:53Oh, okay.
15:54I'm just saying because you helped win a title.
15:57Does that mean everything else is off the table?
16:01Any other opinion is off the table.
16:02No.
16:03Okay.
16:04No.
16:05All right.
16:06Dibs.
16:07Uh, and we're going to keep it a little bit lighter as we get deeper into the feud that
16:12is ongoing.
16:13But for me it is subscription fatigue because right now when I think about what I am subscribing
16:20to, I could name six things and I'm probably missing six other things.
16:25And so I dream of a day where a company or an entity can take all your things and put
16:34them into one little umbrella.
16:35Cause when we were kids, like you had cable and maybe you had HBO or Showtime and that
16:41was like, Ooh, you know, you're one of the rich kids and you had a little add on and
16:44it was cool and we didn't have it, but it was the thing.
16:47And now I've got, you know, I've got Spotify and Apple TV plus, I've got Paramount plus,
16:52I've got Hulu, I've got Netflix, I've got HBO.
16:58I think I have a Showtime, which comes with Paramount plus.
17:01I'm not sure anymore.
17:02And so you start to think about, I don't have that, but I probably will by the end of the
17:06day because one of the things that I want is going to be on there.
17:10And so it's like, Oh, I got to have that.
17:13I have the athletic and I have ESPN plus and I subscribed to the Marin IJ for God knows
17:19what reason I don't even live there anymore.
17:21I do it because I do a banquet once a year and I need the info going into the banquet.
17:25My point is all the subscriptions that you have, it, it, it becomes like unbelievably
17:32overwhelming when you think about like, well, I mean, what's my, my cancellation.
17:37And then you try to log into it on your phone and it's like, Ooh, six, six, you know, factor
17:42authentication.
17:43And so now I have to authenticate.
17:44It's like, I just want to be able to click on a story about Sausalito and what's going
17:49on with, you know, this new restaurant.
17:51And so I got to find my password, password retrieval and this and that.
17:55I'm just exhausted by the ability to even like navigate my own life and it's become
18:00my normal life.
18:02Like I want to hug you for that, but it's, there's no way around it.
18:05There's no way around it.
18:06Dibs.
18:07Christie has a spreadsheet.
18:08There's a spreadsheet of passwords.
18:11Don't give me that.
18:12I'm not kidding.
18:13The analytics.
18:14It's unbelievable because like that, that woman never has to do what the rest of us
18:18do, which is, yeah, we got to reboot the password because we can't remember which password we
18:24used and then you can't use the same password that you had before.
18:27So when you try to change the password, you put in your regular password and it's like,
18:32Nope, that was your password.
18:33And you're like, then why didn't it work when I was trying to log in now I got to make up
18:36a new password and I have no chance of remembering that next time because I made up a new password.
18:42I'm sick.
18:43What is that?
18:44That's brutal.
18:45Tell her to lose the spreadsheet and get a little notebook like that with all the passwords
18:51written down.
18:52Yeah.
18:53But what if you lose this?
18:54I keep it locked up.
18:55This is a physical secure place.
18:56I took it out of the zippered compartment of my bag.
18:59Do you remember when we used to do the notebook?
19:01Yeah, no doubt.
19:02Steineguru and Divz made that big.
19:03Come on Divz.
19:04You see a lot of crossed outs because they're a little, why are all these ladies numbers
19:07in here?
19:08Hey!
19:09Those are passwords.
19:10That's my little black book.
19:11Those are passwords, dog.
19:12It's my turn.
19:13My turn.
19:14You better be careful.
19:15Let the rip go.
19:16So I park in a garage that has an elevator, six floors, and this is just elevator etiquette,
19:22but it's out of control now.
19:24When you enter an elevator and there are two or three people on already, and you come
19:29on with a friend or friends, nobody wants to hear your conversation that you already
19:34had coming into the elevator.
19:36Hit pause and think about the people behind you.
19:39And then when you get off the elevator, I think it's appropriate to continue the conversation.
19:44It's out of control.
19:45I'm fresh off work dealing with him.
19:47So you know what I do?
19:48And then they come in like we want to hear, and yesterday I just wanted to snap, and I
19:55didn't, but people, and I would do it for the people that, okay, you know what?
19:59I'm going to wait till we get to, it's out of control.
20:02There's nobody cares about what you're talking about, and now I'm starting to think they
20:08want to say it with louder volume, like we're getting off on it, and we're not.
20:13If people are already on the elevator, hit pause till you get off.
20:16No, I like it.
20:17And what I do when I get into that elevator is I go into a fake phone call mode where
20:22I pull out my phone, and immediately I'm louder than they are, and I'm talking, hey, James,
20:27what's up, bud?
20:28I didn't know that, dude.
20:29Where are you at, James?
20:30Ah, that's my voice.
20:31Ah, it sounds so good.
20:32It's out of control.
20:33I'm going to latch it, whatever it is.
20:36You become louder than them.
20:37I hadn't thought of that one.
20:38And after two floors worth, they look at you like, oh my God, I can't believe he's on the
20:42phone right now.
20:44And it's like, yes, sorry, Karen, but I'm outdoing you at you.
20:48Yeah, I didn't like it.
20:49Anyway.
20:50Well, it's happening every other day, man.
20:51It happens in my own living room.
20:52I can't even get my kids to turn their phone off when we're watching it.
20:55Like, oh, that hurt, right?
20:57Like don't scroll TikTok when the Warrior Game's on.
21:00And then they get mad at me.
21:01I'm watching.
21:02Well, yeah.
21:03Like, could you just go downstairs?
21:05I don't mind.
21:06Like, do whatever you want.
21:07Yeah.
21:08But like, all of a sudden, I'm listening to Bob Does Sports while I'm also trying to watch
21:12the Warrior Game.
21:13Incredible.
21:14And then they get mad at me.
21:15Like, what's the matter, Dad?
21:18I'm like, I don't want eight different people talking at once.
21:22Is that so much to ask?
21:23I mean, earbuds, right?
21:24Seriously.
21:25And I assume that-
21:26I bought you AirPods.
21:27Use them.
21:28That impersonation was not your daughter, I'm guessing, okay?
21:29No, no, no.
21:30She does not sound like that.
21:31Okay.
21:32But she's a guilty party.
21:33She's guilty.
21:34It's your turn, Willard.
21:35Okay.
21:36Let it rip on these two.
21:37Go ahead.
21:38Hit it.
21:39Hit it.
21:40Hit it, Grandy.
21:41I'm going to have to say this.
21:42Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards.
21:43And you know what?
21:44I'm going to have to say this in a way, in a little way, directed toward Mark Willis.
21:48I like that.
21:49Wow.
21:50There's just no avoiding it.
21:51Will, he might be listening.
21:52I know.
21:53There's no avoiding it, and I'm sure it'll come up in the crossover.
21:55But like, I get it.
21:57Jordan Poole is now playing for the Wizards, and they stink.
22:00And he's putting up numbers, but he's not the most efficient player.
22:04We know that.
22:05And, again, the Wizards stink.
22:07So I don't like people that are like, well, look at him now.
22:12I mean, he's not very good, and he's not our number one.
22:16But whoever said he was, but he did his stuff.
22:19Exactly.
22:20That's how I remember Jordan Poole.
22:23He was a contributor on a championship team.
22:26And when Steph sat out on clay, he could give you 35 or 40, Stein.
22:31Yes, sir.
22:32He could.
22:33All right.
22:34Tag team, back again.
22:35You're off to a great start.
22:36Did you hear my Sandra Bullock blindside?
22:38I did.
22:39OK.
22:40Stein, he pulled the audio.
22:41I mean.
22:42That's a three.
22:44All I would say is, if so, in your lives, like, I want you to think of right now your
22:49family member or your friend who disappointed you the most at one time or another.
22:55Wow.
22:56Yeah.
22:57OK?
22:58I got it.
22:59I got it.
23:00Right?
23:01It's in your head, right?
23:02Did that person prior to that ever do anything good?
23:03Did they do anything good for you?
23:04Do you love them?
23:05Yeah.
23:06Can you still be disappointed in them for then what they did next?
23:09I've tried my ass off to do two things, which is acknowledge that Jordan Poole did some
23:16great things here and getting punched in the face is never your fault.
23:21But what I get frustrated with is that I think that a lot of Warrior fans, as absence makes
23:29the heart grow fonder and we frustrate ourselves through a 20 and 20 season, you forget how
23:36you felt watching Jordan Poole play basketball two years ago.
23:40You forgot.
23:41Dribble, dribble, dribble.
23:42My phone during every Warrior game was a string of texts of people whose hair was no longer
23:49in the sides of their heads because of what Jordan Poole would do on every drive to the
23:53basket with the palms up and on the ground and looking at the ref and making Steph throw
23:58mouthpieces and Klay put his hands up in the air and Draymond walk off the court and all
24:03of these things.
24:05There's clearly more to the story than just Draymond punched him like out of nowhere.
24:10He clearly was rubbing the people the wrong way before the course, and I'm not blaming
24:16him for it, but there's so much more to it than just the punch.
24:20This is someone whose ego ran amok after he won a title.
24:24It doesn't mean he didn't help him win a title, but he immediately is screaming in the locker
24:28room about we going to get a bag and then clearly went about ticking everybody off and
24:34never forget that Steph Curry greenlit that trade, and there's a reason for that.
24:39So my opinion is what it is, not because he's playing how he's playing in Washington.
24:45You ask whoever said he was a one, I'd argue he probably said it behind the scenes many,
24:51many times.
24:52He said it on Twitter.
24:54He was happy as a clam losing 70 games a year in Washington because he's got a ring in his
24:59bag.
25:00He said that.
25:01So not my kind of player.
25:04That's all.
25:05That's only been my point.
25:06It does not erase some of the good that he did when he was here when it's measured.
25:12I appreciate it.
25:13And by the way, his his G League, his G League story.
25:17He deserves so much credit.
25:18I love that part of it, but it's all real quick to the second, Stony.
25:24I really you hit me to where I was like, oh, he defused me because I thought you weren't
25:28going to acknowledge the punch.
25:29But this just me.
25:30I'm not a Hawaiian.
25:33Willard, it was over after he got hit in that video leak to me.
25:37And that's why I'm telling Stony just I know I called him dress shoes, Johnny, because
25:42it felt like when he was falling down, doing all the antics, it was we had seen the best
25:46Jordan pool before he got hit.
25:50And probably we had CJ Watson on former warrior in the quiet.
25:53He said it'll never go away.
25:55It's something that will live forever.
25:56So just on like it was over form and I know I'm strong with it, but like I don't it's
26:03like something that happened that was out of his control.
26:06And Willard, you're saying it right, checking the boxes.
26:08But to me, it was it was so bad what happened to him in the humiliation that I almost give
26:13him a pass on that.
26:14Just real quick before you go.
26:16And I know Mark has more and Stony, you're into OT like OT is so much fun when we go
26:21to your life.
26:22I just look great for both of you.
26:25Would you want him on the team now?
26:26I would.
26:27I would.
26:28I would do it.
26:29Twenty one points a game.
26:30Forty percent for three.
26:31I just throw that out because it's something we're going to throw out to our list to six
26:35because, you know, he's in town and, you know, we're looking for that second score.
26:39Can I ask contextually, though?
26:40Yeah, that's what makes it tough.
26:41Right.
26:42Like, OK, do you want him on the team?
26:45Sure.
26:46What else does that mean?
26:47Well, that means there's probably no Schroeder and nobody here.
26:50It also means I feel, yes, no coming after this year.
26:53Well, after this year, not after this year.
26:56Because that was why they got rid of him.
26:58But they still have his bird rights.
27:00I understand that.
27:01But that contract was already signed.
27:02Like the whole idea behind turning Jordan Poole into Chris Paul was to get off of it.
27:09The Warriors have told me this, like they get it.
27:14Turning Jordan Poole into Chris Paul was like that.
27:19That's thirty two million dollars that they freed up as soon as Chris was gone.
27:23And then what did they do when it was all nothing?
27:26Well, thirty two million dollars that you can now spend on Jonathan Kaminga.
27:31I mean, that's that's all.
27:34That's all I'm saying.
27:35Like if if it's just a yes or no and we're playing fantasy basketball, sure, sure, Jordan
27:40Poole can be on the team.
27:42But I'd like to know what else does that mean?
27:45Who's not on the team?
27:46He said no Kaminga if Poole hits next year.
27:50Yeah.
27:51Not this year.
27:52We're going to go back through on ninety five seven again.
27:54We love you.
27:55Great Chewy Gomez just walked by.
27:58Slide me.
27:59I don't.
28:00I can't say it now.
28:01It'll get dibs, man.
28:02Why?
28:03That slide me is extra drink tickets yesterday.
28:05I actually told somebody who was going to the party, I said, make sure Steinmetz gets
28:10my extra drink tickets.
28:12And you you probably were able to get your thirst quenched no matter what.
28:17I did.
28:18OK.
28:19And where did you do?
28:20OK.
28:22Via rooftop bar.
28:23Right outside.
28:24Jason.
28:25Hard.
28:26What's it called?
28:27Hard something.
28:28Hard right.
28:29I gotta go.
28:30Whose party was it?
28:31Where were the people who didn't get to go?
28:32Whose party was it?
28:33This guy is impossible to send out.
28:34That's my quarterback.
28:35Out of the game.
28:36There we go.
