00:00Let's go back to the projects of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:05that led to the good development of the country's economy

00:08where some of them have lost their jobs,

00:12maintaining affordable prices in goods,

00:15advancing infrastructure projects,

00:17innovation in technology.

00:19Let's take a look at the 2024 Highlights in Infrastructure in Joshua Garcia's words.

00:31About 1.03 million female workers joined the labor force.

00:37Overall, this is 1.9%.

00:40Overall, it means that it still increased, but at a slower rate.

00:46This year, the development of the economy will not be delayed.

00:49Under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.,

00:53the good future of the year 2025 is still promising.

00:58The priority here is to lower the unemployment rate

01:00or the number of unemployed people to 4.0%,

01:03which is already lower than it was in 2023,

01:06the lowest ever recorded in almost two decades

01:09according to the Philippine Statistics Authority.

01:12One of the major contributions here

01:14is the entry of women into the labor workforce

01:17where most of them take a long time to get a job.

01:20Year on year, between August 2023 and August 2024,

01:24about 1.03 million female workers joined the labor force

01:30and about 1.03 million were absorbed in the labor market,

01:35which means they are employed.

01:36Aside from this, the administration continues to strive for its initiatives,

01:40investment from the private sector,

01:42and the emerging digital economy.

01:45According to the National Economic Development Authority or NEDA,

01:48one of the main priorities of the administration

01:51is to improve the quality and better income of Filipino workers

01:55which has a major role in improving the country's economy.

01:58Despite the challenges facing the country

02:00when it comes to inflation in the years 2022 and 2023,

02:04it slowed down and showed stability

02:06despite the global supply chain disruptions

02:09and the rise in the price of oil in the Pandaigdigang Mercado.

02:12If our inflation rate goes down,

02:14it means that the price of goods has slowed down.

02:19But if we look at the individual items

02:23or some group of items,

02:25there are some that fell, negative.

02:27It means that the price really went down.

02:29An example of this is transport, gasoline, diesel, tomatoes,

02:34those are negative.

02:36But overall, this is 1.9%.

02:39Overall, it means that it still went up,

02:42but at a slower rate.

02:45Now, 2024.

02:47The administration of President Marcos Jr. is positive

02:50that the target of 6% to 6.5% gross domestic product

02:54or economic growth will be achieved.

02:55And if the implementation of the economic agenda will continue,
