06:55I called in and said that I was kind of upset with John and Kyle
07:01for signing the deal with IUK and this was before his injury.
07:07You know, because it seemed to me that it was a philosophy change
07:13when we saw this group of guys come in and take over.
07:19We had, you know, they I guess they drafted Solomon Thomas and
07:25we had DeForest Buckner and Eric Armstead and it seemed like
07:31they were trying to build up the line on the defensive side and
07:35they came with the, you know, the Brindles and some other guys
07:41on the offensive side and, you know, it's like they wanted to
07:45have a running team with a solid defense.
07:49All right, and so with Brock Purdy, he fit in perfectly because
07:55with that philosophy with, you know, running the ball and the
07:59play action, he was very elusive when he, you know, three guys
08:05ran at him and he was able to look downfield and make accurate
08:09throws and make the correct play.
08:11So I don't think that we have a problem with Brock Purdy per se
08:18because he's fine for that philosophy.
08:21But when you try to turn him into Josh Allen and, you know, now
08:26he's throwing and dropping back 30 times and, you know, that's
08:31not what he is and I, you know, so I blame Kyle for, you know,
08:37kind of acquiescing to what the league is doing rather than
08:41keeping his own style, which was effective and got us to, you
08:46know, a championship games in the Super Bowl.

10:22if the goal is winning some rent the rank-and-file regular
10:24season games, maybe get to the playoffs.
10:27That's a different goal and that might mean different.
10:29But if you're talking about we want to go to the Super Bowl,
10:32we need people to be there to help Brock and if he doesn't
10:35in and so that it becomes just how much is there available
10:38and is a zero-sum game in some ways with a salary cap.
