00:00I don't know why we're having this conversation about somebody who wants to terminate the
00:03constitution to overthrow the results of an election. Aren't we supposed to be a patriotic
00:06country? Charlamagne the God is slamming CNN's coverage of Donald Trump during a recent appearance
00:13on the network. The popular podcaster and radio host made an appearance on CNN's AC360 on Thursday
00:19night and called out what he believed as the media's double standards and failures to convey
00:23the true danger of Trump's rhetoric. When asked by host Anderson Cooper about Trump's plan to
00:28appear on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast and whether Harris planned to do the same, he replied,
00:33I think that she should keep calling Donald Trump a fascist. I don't know why we're even
00:37thinking about electing somebody who's talking about putting people in camps. I don't know why
00:41we want to elect somebody who's talking about mass deportation. I don't know why we're having
00:46this conversation about somebody who wants to terminate the constitution to overthrow the
00:50results of an election. Aren't we supposed to be a patriotic country? Even me bringing it up now,
00:56you brought it back to Kamala and Joe Rogan, Anderson. Yeah. Who gives a damn? A clearly
01:01shocked Cooper tried to steer the conversation back to why Trump appearing on Rogan's podcast
01:06is important in terms of the election, but Charlamagne wouldn't bend. And that's talking
01:10about, you know, jailing his political opponents like that rhetoric doesn't scare people. Cooper
01:15claimed that CNN did in fact cover Trump's dangerous rhetoric. I don't think y'all have
01:19enough conversations about it. I feel like I heard more on this network about is Kamala Harris black
01:23than I do about, you know, Donald Trump being a fascist. Am I wrong? Cooper shot back. That's
01:28bullshit. I'm sorry. I liked it. I'm a huge fan of yours. Okay. But to say that we're sitting around
01:37discussing is Kamala Harris black? Like, oh, I've seen that. I've seen what's around table
01:42discussions a lot. Now that's bullshit, Anderson. Charlamagne replied, I think no network has been
01:46honest about Donald Trump. You haven't had nobody has had honest conversations about Donald Trump
01:51since 2016. I saw last night they were talking about, you know, the double standard that exists
01:56between Donald Trump and the vice president, but it's always a double standard with Trump,
01:59whether it's with Hillary, whether it's, you know, against Biden. Now with Kamala,
02:04we talk about him being a threat to democracy, but we don't treat him like one.
