Minister of Youth Development and National Service, Foster Cummings, says his Ministry is "fine-tuning" a programme for students who have been expelled from school. He says following an initial assessment, the students will either be placed in an academic stream, or a tech-voc stream.

00:00 We are fine-tuning a program for the students who have been expelled from school for various reasons under our National Service Umbrella.
00:08 We are doing that in conjunction with the Defence Force because of course we want to make sure we utilize the success we have had in programs such as the MILAT and the MIPAT program
00:17 to assist and make available to these students who are expelled an opportunity for a career in the future.
00:23 So we are just at the stage where we are finalizing that and that will be rolled out very soon.
