Cinema guide: Jan 2024 releases

Pricilla stars Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi in the latest A twenty four flick, directed by Sofia Coppola. It tells the story of when Pricilla met Elvis Presley and has already been highly rated by critics, scoring a respectable eighty two percent on rotten tomatoes. With much of the praise directed at the cast, you can catch this one in cinemas from the fifth of January.

Next - another well rated one online is One Life. The real life story of British humanitarian Nicholas Winton who helped save hundreds of Central European children from the Nazis on the eve of World War Two. Sir Anthony Hopkins gives a moving performance with the film being dubbed 'extraordinary'.

And last - based on the short film of the same name is new horror flick Night Swim. Forced into early retirement, a former baseball player moves into a new house with his family. He hopes the swimming pool will be fun for the kids but a dark secret soon unleashes a malevolent force. That's all for now - whatever you're watching we hope you enjoy.
