00:00 Hi, I'm Kevin Falvey, Editor-in-Chief of Boating Magazine, and I'm here on the Côte d'Azur,
00:04 the French Riviera, with Anya Denari, President of Brunswick Boat Group.
00:08 Hi, Anya.
00:09 Hi, Kevin.
00:10 Great to be here.
00:11 Thanks for coming.
00:12 We're standing aboard the new Navant.
00:14 There's two models.
00:15 There's an S30 and a C30.
00:17 This is the cabin version, or the C. I just had the opportunity to run it, and you're
00:21 going to see it in the United States and Canada sometime in early 2024.
00:25 Anya, tell us about your entry into this new niche for Brunswick.
00:30 Yeah, this is an exciting new white space opportunity for us.
00:33 This is a premium adventure boat.
00:36 We have a patented twin-step hull, a T-step hull, which is really exciting.
00:40 We've integrated all kinds of technologies here.
00:42 We've got C-zone digital switching.
00:44 We've got various different mercury options up to and including twin 300s, top speed 52
00:50 knots.
00:51 The boat handles really well, nicely stable, great performance, just loaded with features.
00:59 This is a really exciting growth opportunity for us.
01:02 Can you talk a little bit about this stepped hull?
01:04 I understand it's the first stepped hull patented by Brunswick?
01:07 That's correct.
01:08 It's a twin-step hull.
01:09 It's a T-step, which is the part that we patented.
01:12 It really helps us with the maneuverability as well as stability.
01:18 The patent piece is really contributing to better stability than maybe you will see with
01:23 a typical twin-step hull.
01:26 I'm sure you had the opportunity to run it and get to feel that great performance and
01:30 stability, but it's in large part due to that T-step hull.
01:34 We did run it, and in the time I had to run it today, it did plane very easily.
01:37 It held plane at a nice low RPM, and with nine people aboard, it achieved 47 knots.
01:43 It's a performer.
01:44 It is.
01:45 Anya, last thing.
01:46 When will we see this?
01:47 When will my audience see this boat in the United States and Canada?
01:50 It's launching here in Europe this week, which is very exciting at the Can Boat Show.
01:55 You will see it in the US coming up in Miami.
01:59 Look forward to showing it off there in February next year.
