[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited for the opportunity to try this, as our 5 year old set is starting to wear out. This is a nice product, but I don't think it is as good as what I have been using. \n\nThe glass is very thick and sturdy. We have really put it to the test the last few weeks (freezer, microwave, dishwasher), and it has held up beautifully. The edge is also thick, so it should be difficult to chip. Because it is so thick it is also quite heavy, which might be a drawback for some.\n\nBoth the lids and the base wash easily. We have put them through the dishwasher many times, and they are showing no signs of wear. \n\nThis stacks easily with others from this brand. However, the bottom isn't tapered enough, so the smaller one does not sit low when stacked into the larger one. There is a huge gap of empty space, which means these take up a huge amount of room in my cupboard. Two of these stacked is about the same height as 10 of my usual set.\n\nBiggest drawback is the lid. I find it to be flimsy in comparison to the glass bottom. It also only has two latches instead of four, so it is not as airtight. I didn't have any issues with leaking, but it just didn't seem as secure as what I am used to. With my current containers, I can hear the air being pushed out as I close the latches. That is not the case with this one. Also, the seal falls off easily when washed and it is very difficult to put back on. \n\nI really like this large size. It works equally well for cookies as it does for large batches of leftover soup. Because it is deeper than it is wide, it doesn't take up a lot of horizontal cabinet space\n\nI half heartedly would recommend this product, but it is definitely not my favorite.

I would have liked them more if they were taller and held more. I can use them Glass storagebut not as I had hoped. I didn't see the measurements before I bought them so it's not the company's fault.

I like the size of the bowl. It works for my purposes. I am unsurE about how to work the silicon lid/sea thingy. They showed diagrams but that is not helpful so I guess I have to wait and see. I am not sure if the instructions apply for daily use or only when you remove the silicon seal

The containers are great, but the lid flaps break off too easily. We've had ours for less than 6 months and 2 lids already have broken flaps just from regular use. Do not recommend.

It's hard to find glass storage in this large size, but with latches on only 2 sides, you just dont get as tight a seal as containers with 4 latches.\n\nAlso the latches that are there come undone too easily, which gives the impression they are not greatly effective either.\n\nI can't speak to durability yet, but a glass dish this large is a bit awkward to wash/handle and could lead to drops and chipping of the rim.

I do love the price and the design. It is really beautiful. It was like love at first sight. However, after washing and drying, I decided to put some food in it and closed the beautiful lid on….and realized it is not airtight at all. It only has two flaps(?) so you can literally see some gap on the other two sides without those flaps….\nThat was pretty disappointing. I read some review saying seal has problems, but nope! That is not the issue. Its the beautiful lid that won't close completely airtight. I was thinking to return it, but I didn't know if Walmart would give me a refund for the used container.

If you need large food containers, this is what you need! The only disappointment is that the lids are made of plastic, although the container itself is made of durable glass.

I would have given these five stars if the rubber gaskets did not pop out so easily. Other than that I think these are the best leak-proof glass containers on a budget. The tabs slide on the sides very easily for a complete seal and not stressful for arthritic or weak hands.\n\nI like these enough that I wish I could purchase specific round size containers to store individual soup servings, but alas they do not make those, or at least not yet.

i love glass containers, %26 these are almost perfect. They hold 4 cups. Good size, thick glass, lids snap on easily, only 2 sides also. They can go in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer %26 oven! (w/o lid)\nWhat i dislike is that the rubber seal on the underside of the lid comes off very easily, nearly every time i open it. Its even more irritating to put back on because you get 2-3 corners on %26 you go for the 4th %26 1-2 other ones slip off. So you gotta hold them all!\nLike how some tupperware work trying to close those regular lids.

I bought two and the seal came off on one of them before I could use it. I had to try to put it back on. It's not as secure as it should be but I made it work.

i bought these containers, and i washed them and packed my lunch for the next day. when i took out my container from the fridge at work i put it on the microwave to heat up my food and when i took it out i noticed a crack on the sode that was not there before. now i dont know if it was because it went from a cold temp to a hot them that made it crack, or maybe another worker may have bumped in to it but its thick glass and i was really bummed out about the crack. i might exchange it for the same one and go gove it another chance but im dissaponted that not less than 24 hrs and its cracked.

I really like this size glass container. I use it mostly for the kids sandwiches because the plastic ones get nasty over time. It feels much better to put it in a glass container. It fits nicely with the other sizes we have of these because they nest in the cupboard. The rubber seal has held up great after going through the dishwasher a couple times. I really like the snap closures on these because they are only on 2 sides compared to all 4. They don't have a chance of pinching and still store the food perfectly.

I loved everything about these storage containers so I bought a second set. Unfortunately, two of the lids have broken; i.e., one side tab on two lids have broken off making them unusable. I cannot find replacement lids and, without the lids, it defeats the purpose for me.

Nice thick glass. Only 2 latches that look like they will last. They do nest inside each other so space saving

Just what I expected. These are a great purchase. I've been phasing out of plastic (not healthy %26 bad for the economy) so this is an excellent alternative. If this is your end goal as well you will not be disappointed with them.

I love this glass container. It is a really nice large size to hold so many things. I also like how the flip lid is only on two sides and not on all four like many other styles. It is much easier to snap close and it doesn't pinch you. I have put it through the dishwasher a couple times and it has held up great. The rubber seal still works great. I have a couple other sizes of this style and they all nest well in my cupboard. I highly recommend getting a couple of these. You can't go wrong.

The advertisement online led one to believe you were getting two products when you actually were getting one product with a cover.

The container is heavy and will hold a larger amount of food. But the seal is poor. It is a silicone rubber gasket that is ill fitting and comes off easily. The gasket cannot easily be reattached to either the base or the lid.and the container is not sealed without it. Air can come into the container and the loose lid can cause the item to be mishandled which could cause injury to your feet as the glass container is heavy especially if it has food in it.

Very nice size, lids fit nicely; I dinged it a star because the lid is not quite as durable-seeming as other makes and others have fasteners on all four sides which seem more outer air-protective

These 10 club glass containers were exactly what I was looking for for meal prepping for our family of six. I try to avoid plastics and being glass, these can go from the freezer to the oven without a problem. The one thing I was a little disappointed in is the lids only have two hinging snaps, which leaves the other two sides a little loose because they are not compressed down with a snap. The lid material is thin and you can see through it nicely but only time will tell if it's durability. I was pleasantly surprised to find they make a 14 cup version with the same size lid. I like the simple design, I will buy more as my recipe list grows.

This set comes with one large bowl and a lid the sizing on the bowls is great, it's perfect for large portions! ! The lid has two snaps on the side that is how they close. It was easy to clean as there is only three parts of the containers the lids, the bowl and a rubber seal. The thing that I wasn't a fan of was the lids although they snap on don't seem super secure and airtight, and one of the rubber seals came of and I struggled for a long time to get it back in, so although it's nice to have a removable seal for cleaning purposes it's a nightmare to replace. Other than that it's a great container I love that it's glass!

These Better Homes and Gardens glass food storage containers are wonderful!! They are so beautiful with the classic and clean look with their white lids that latch, locking in all the freshness of my fresh fruits and vegetables and they can be used in the microwave, freezer, and refrigerator it's ease due to their rectangular lines. They also have quality glass that has very nice quality latching lids. They definitely give oxo a run for their money. I love them so much I have been collecting every single size. I have the 4 cup, 10 cup, and the 14 cup sized rectangular glass storage containers and I love them for all of my food storage items. The gasket seals are great as well with the locking lids. I now need to get the 2/3 rd size containers and I'm all set. There's not one thing I can say negatively about them they are very high quality containers that don't cost an arm and a leg. Definitely a 10/10!! \nMost strongly recommend them!! You'll love them too!

Perfect for meal prep. The only complaint is one of the sides broke off. I am able to snap it back on, but it happened after the second use.

The kids break and crack easily. i bought these for food prep to take meals to work. They're useless when the kids are broken. I'll stick with Pyrex from now on.

You need a instructions manual to be able to close the lid on this product the rubber band did not fit into the groove.
