Sep 23, 2006 · According to their dyno runs the 06 peaks at 112.1 @ 14,000 rpm, the R6s peaks at 104.5 @13,000 rpm and the yzf peaks at 87.7 @ 11,250 rpm, however the R6s consistantly makes more power than the 06 R6 until about 10,500, but the yzf makes more power than both of them until around 9,000 rpm.

Apr 27, 2007 · Oddly enough, the r6s is an 04 in every respect except for the frame. It has the re-tuned for inverted forks 05 frame, they share the same part number (5SL-2111-01-00). Actually the 05 is the only frame still available new according to yamaha.
