Welcome to Air Force ROTC, Det 088! What is Air Force ROTC? It is a challenge. It is an opportunity. It is a head start on a lifetime of success! Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) programs educate and train qualified young men and women for service as commissioned officers in the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and U.S. Space Force (USSF).

The U.S. Army offers four-, three-, and two-year Active Duty and two-year Reserve Forces Duty or Dedicated California National Guard scholarships to students planning to attend or attending Sacramento State. The U.S. Army ROTC scholarship package pays tuition and educational fees.

Duties: Ms. Smith currently serves as the University Liaison between the U.S. Army, Sacramento State University, and their Army ROTC program.

ROTC at Sacramento State. Involvement in the ROTC program at Sac State generally involves a weekly 1-hour class and participation in our physical training (PT) and tactical labs. PT is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday each week from 0630 - 0730. Labs are every Wednesday from 1500-1700 (3 pm to 5 pm).
