May 24, 2018 · Often, when I shutdown my computer with Windows 10, I no longer can see the power icon or any of the icons on my task bar. to correct this, I have to "restart" my computer to get all my icons to show on the task bar. That is why I need a power button with Restart, Shutdown, and Sleep on my desktop. Or, I just need a Restart button on my desktop.

Dec 10, 2024 · Recently, I've noticed that the power button after pressing the Windows button only shows the "Lock" option, and not the Shut Down or Restart option as it used to. I don't normally shut my computer down as I am a student and often have assignments open through the night so I can get to it the next morning, so I am not sure when this is from.
