Nov 25, 2012 · The Reichsrevolver was produced by a number of manufacturers. They were made primarily by a consortium in Suhl consisting of the firms of Sauer & Sohn, C.G. Hanel and V.C. Schilling. They were also produced independently by Dreyse, Mauser and the government arsenal at Erfurt.

Trigger is quite nice. The hammer spring being so strong is a mild inconvenience, but at least you know there won't be any light strikes.

Dec 4, 2017 · Just some quick pics of a Reichsrevolver I picked up today. I believe it's a Bavarian contract officer's model that was later acquired by the EWB. There are no unit markings on the backstrap. Almost all the original finish remains, including the fire bluing on a few small parts.
