The only things that would keep me from buying one right away are a mild interest to see if there really will be a Mk8 Golf R Plus, although the odds of it having an available manual are probably zero. Plus the initial lack of aftermarket products, but the market will undoubtedly catch up quickly.

Jan 29, 2021 · The new Mk8 Rs seem so fun..LSD on both axles with torque vectoring, drift mode, locking front differential..seems like it'd handle great a long with the added power. I was planning on keeping my current car for a while but the 2022 Golf R might make me break my promise.
