The fluting makes the barrel 20% lighter in weight and relieves any longitudinal stresses built up in the barrel.

Jan 23, 2013 · I have a LWRC M6A2 as well as a POF. Hands down my LWRC is much better. Better fit and finish, more accurate, etc. My POF had several malfunction issues, but after 2 years I finally got it working, but since then have lost all faith in the POF platform. For LWRC, you pay for the reliability, reputation, and longterm company stability.

This is my first AR so in doing my research I really compared what came with each brand for the comparative $$$. The brands that I started off the comparison with were Bushmaster, Smith and Wesson, Alexander Arms, Barrett, LMT, and LWRC.

To top it all off, the salesperson was a shapely young lady (also best in the show).

Feb 24, 2011 · I think overall, the design is better than either the Sig or the LWRC in terms of easy maintenance and robustness of the parts (as long as you get one that runs). The XCR is noticeably heavier though and in my particular case....each of my 3 XCR uppers has more felt recoil than my LWRC 5.56.

Setup works for YOU and it goes pew pew. I think it’s a very effective set up for what I use it for. Also, I’m just glad I have a super quality rifle in comparison to my last one. Lastly, it blends in extremely well with my environment, which is pretty sweet. Sounds like you checked all the boxes for yourself then.
