To be more clear, you want to know right click using keyboard within Windows Explorer? context menu? As you yourself mentioned, Shift+F10, it works within Explorer too. Also if you press & release Alt key, it'll show you shortcuts as letters appear over the buttons on the ribbon.

Apr 15, 2023 · Right click physically works, but is just open a file or folder and does NOT bring up the context menu. Right click does the same action as left click. As mentioned, I tried 2 working external mouse, and right click gives the exact same result as left click. According to what i have read online, this seems to be a elusive problem.

Dec 27, 2022 · Go to Settings, Keyboard Manager, Remap a Key. Set this up: Then, hit OK and when you get . Select Continue Anyway and this saved configuration works for me. The Menu key now operates as a Control Key (Powertoys has to be kept running in the background and the Keyboard mapper needs to be set to on.) Hope this helps.

Oct 21, 2015 · I would like to inform you that there is a key to the right of the windows key, or 2 keys to the right of the spacebar, that looks like the cursor selecting from a list. It is called the menu key. That key gives the options for whatever is highlighted, just like a right click does.

Sep 25, 2017 · Hey, I’ve gotten a issue recently where whenever I tried to left click, it instead brings up the right click menu. I tried rebooting into safe mode and it still happens.
