The modern bikes as pretty close to the same motor and 125cc. check out C-90 adventures on YouTube where he travels the world on a C-90 , Asia to Europe , Alaska to Argentina etc.....

Feb 13, 2024 · Have not but I had a several Trail 50's and 90's as well as a Yamaha 2smoke version when I was a kid. So I took a look at the new version when I was in the dealer recently. Much better frame and suspension as well as the powertrain than the ones 50 plus years ago. E36 M3, they've been building 1960's Trail bikes in SE Asia ever since.

So while I wait on the new advancer, I found this place that has m5 .9 retired JIS screws in pan head and machine head and I can cut them to length.

Aug 30, 2014 · That trail 90 looks like it will clean up nice! My neighbor has an all original '69 trail 90 with only 1300 miles. The bike seems to need the battery to start as the Magneto doesn't provide enough power during kick-over. I'm not sure if the magneto is weak or this is how Honda designed them. Something to consider when you try starting the bike.

Nov 28, 2013 · The shift pattern is taking a little time for me to get used to. Neutral is at the bottom and then it's three-up (toe up or heel down with this shifter). Surprisingly, this is the exact opposite of my old '71 Honda CT70 Mini-Trail and my long gone Rockford Chibi.
