The TF2 player models by Acres are really good, also the Enhanced HL2 Survivor Gordon Freeman is probably the best Gordon model for vanilla graphics Gmod, just fits in pretty well with the other HL2 models

Apr 17, 2022 · Create a blank folder in your "garrysmod/addons" Name it whatever you like "My Player" copy the "lua", "models" and "materials" folders into this new folder. Done, player models require a lua script to be detected by the game, so I'll walk you thru it if the "lua" folder isn't there.

Oct 12, 2023 · I'M HAVING ISSUES GETTING MULTIPLE PLAYER MODELS TO SHOW UP IN THE PM SELECTION MENU: I'VE TRIED EDITING THE LUA FILES MANY TIMES TO NO AVAIL, AND SOMETIMES I EVEN GET AN ERROR IN GMOD.

I already have the model made and textured in blender, I just need assistance porting it to be used as a Playermodel, not a prop or ragdoll. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I search the whole playermodel list and I don't see my recently added custom player model while I can see the player model in spawnmenu and spawn it normally. I've made few custom player models in the past and I have no problem making them work till now.
