This seems relatively straightforward. What isn't clear to me is the interaction between the image sent out by the projector, and the screen surface being used.

Jul 1, 2018 · Since I have a short throw I needed a curved screen to match the pincushion distortion. I used a bended plastic tube to calculate the curve (together with aussiebobs calculator) and a jig saw to cut it out. I assembled the pieces on the floor, and I marked the curved on the side pieces, and I used a chop saw cut the curve on those.

Oct 8, 2008 · I went and measured for you so I could have an accurate distance. My projector is 14'5" back from the center of my screen. Since my screen is curved it is 3" deeper in the center vs. the sides. From 11' you might have a greater amount of pincushion but if you make a curved screen you should be fine, maybe a slightly greater curve radius like 4-5".
