And in the recent episode it shows that he and fizzarolli grew up together, which means there may be a subset of imps born in a different ring altogether?

Blitzo uses Stolas for the grimoire and used him to get into Ozzie's, while Stolas uses Blitzo for sex. Stolas didn't defend his relationship with Blitzo against Asmodeus' musical number, but Blitzo was silent too and prior to the song he barely acted like Stolas was even there.

The hints that I've picked up are "what a mouth", Fizz calling out Blitzo in Ozzie's, "You're one to comment on a relationship. Last time I checked yours was a pile of shit." But the biggest hint of them all was the pic of Blitz and Fizz when they were teenagers and attending some event. They looked close.. like REAL close. As if they were dating.
