Nov 10, 2021 · I don’t see the Ilmor as being harmful in ARCA. The crate engine saved the truck series. The last year of all built engines teams were going out of business every month because of expensive engine leases. Mar 3, 2022 · Not a good series for building SR. SK Modified and Late Models are the best D class oval series. They both have good and generally clean racing. Also, many of the tracks in these series are free so it's much less of a burden on your wallet. The Truck series (Class C) is the best oval series in the game, so focus on getting there.

It’s better to look at ARCA rather than trucks since Illmor had been building all of that series’ engines for a while now. IIRC Chevy teams use an LS-based block while Toyota and Ford teams use a block sourced from elsewhere, but Illmor is the one who builds, maintains and handles track-to-track ECU settings for each engine.

Dec 30, 2021 · We actually have profited at a team, but it is not a lavish lifestyle for any of these dedicated drivers. Given the current green movement, I believe it is only a matter of time before some of the NextGen changes will make it much more expensive for the ARCA teams. I see the future being that of an eARCA series (electric vehicles).
