Oct 19, 2019 · As most people know, Roblox Studio has a Script Recovery feature. However, as most people also know, it doesn't have very much functionality other than autosaving your scripts in some faraway land folder and allowing you to see your save, but not use it.

Jul 28, 2020 · If you somehow delete a script in the latest version you can go back to your game’s Version History and restore the script from there, then load up your true latest version and drop the script back in there. That’s the only actual history of what changed in your game excluding undo/redo as far as I know. Oh that makes sense. Thanks!

Feb 17, 2023 · Try using script recovery, or if you still have them, right click them and press “view script history”. Sadly, script history does not work either. Its as if all data of the scripts faded at once without a trace.

Mar 23, 2021 · Does anyone know how to recover the code displayed from the Script Changes tab? There’s no real way to do so as of now, what you could probably do is open the compare changes up, and just manually edit the script to suit the changes to “revert” it.

The Script tab contains tools for writing and testing scripts. You can only access this tab when you're viewing or editing a script. Navigate. The Navigate section lets you quickly jump between any open script.

May 3, 2025 · Yes, you can revert to the previous version by going to File > Beta Features > Next Gen Studio Preview, then make sure it is disabled and restart the Roblox Studio. With this, you can go to the old layout.

If set to true, Roblox Studio will attempt to transfer script changes that were made during a Play Solo session to the opened place.
