Sep 30, 2021 · For My chassis I’ve used BodyGyros for steering attached to a cylindrical, for driving I use a hinge, also It could be due to the characters weight, or if your changing the torque mid game. I’ve tried setting the characters weight to massless but it didn’t help.

May 1, 2020 · I am rotating this crane with a while loop which adds 0.1 to the Y property of the root attachment’s orientation. I’ve tried setting the worldposition of both attachments equal to eachother but that also didn’t work. If anyone has any other ideas as to how i could achieve this, please let me know. Sep 2, 2023 · Firstly, you can use CylindricalConstraint.LimitsEnabled and a Limits section should appear, allowing you to change how far it can go. If you want it to slide up and down vertically, make sure the two attachments that share the constraint are vertical as well. Unless the wheel is rotating incorrectly.

Jun 23, 2024 · To prevent this, on each Cylindrical Constraint enable Slider.LImitsEnabled, then set the Limits.UpperLimit to 0 from 5. After that you can play around with setting the servo/motor values to drive the cart. Hope that helps.

Jul 20, 2022 · For steering the hinge (disk) is attached to one Attachment in the CylindricalConstraint. The two orange posts you see on the bottom green sphere need to point the same direction as the lengthwise travel of the spring & CylindricalConstraint.

You can set limits to restrict both the sliding range and rotation of a cylindrical constraint. Enabling the LimitsEnabled property exposes the LowerLimit and UpperLimit values, as well as Restitution which defines the elasticity of the attachments when they reach either limit.

Jul 7, 2019 · You most likely have constraints mode on. It’s the icon with the two connected green dots in the modelling tab. This mode makes studio act as if the game’s running, so unanchored parts will be pushed around when other parts are moved into them.
