House moves to override Trump vetoes on bipartisan Colorado water project and Florida Everglades bill that both passed unanimously in both chambers.

The vote was 248 in favor of overriding the veto and 177 opposed. It needed the support of two-thirds of those voting to pass.

The Board of Representatives also failed to overturn the mayor's veto establishing a comprehensive tree preservation and urban forestry program.

In a letter to the Common Council, Noble said that while the city did survey non-ETPA properties, it did not calculate an overall, citywide vacancy rate, nor did the city’s Office of Housing Initiatives consultant find an “alternative vacancy rate” to the one cited in the study, since the consultant only looked at nine properties.
