For now the battery limit is only available in the test preview build for Steam, so it looks like Valve is going to wait and see before implementing it as a standard feature.

The Switch 2 is about at the limit of comfort for a handheld for me, but opinions will vary here. Colour temperature on the Switch 2 is also pretty cold, at over 7500K, while the Steam Deck is warmer.
