Our kit had options for either street/strip or heavy duty/towing. Since our transmission is destined for our '68 GTX clone, we chose to install it using the street/strip instructions.

This transmission allows the shift strategy to be altered in the way a valvebody shift kit would, but with one big difference-it's done by the stroke of a keyboard with no wrenches required.

To install the TransGo 4L80E HD2 kit, we went to Nate Shaw of One Guys Garage to show us how it's done. He's installed these kits on several other big horsepower builds with really solid success.
